About this cottage rental
Dwelling immersed in the greenery of the BERICI COLLI in a quiet environment without any noise, with large sunny garden-park, furnishings with attention to detail and well equipped, large terrace with deck chairs and sun loungers. Complete kitchen with everything you need. It is very welcoming. In just 20 minutes you can reach the historic center of Vicenza. You can visit the VILLAS PALLADIANE (La Rotonda, Villa Rapetta, Villa Valmarana ai Nani, Villa Da Schio). Within a few kilometers you can reach small towns very characteristic both from the architectural and landscape point of view. From the house there are some nature trails with trails on foot or by bike, on foot you can reach the walls of the Lumignano rock gym for climbing or reach the small lake of Fimon. Nearby there are listed restaurants to enjoy the local food and wine and renowned cellars of fine wines. In about one hour's drive you can reach cities of art:
Venice, Verona, Treviso, Padua, Bologna, Mantua, Dolomites, Asiago plateau, Lake Garda.

We have rented small apartments in Italy several times during the last few years. This somewhat remote guest house was among the best stays we’ve had. The hosts were friendly, kind and available always. We enjoyed that they also have a friendly and gregarious dog.
The house had all the necessities and was very well maintained and super clean. A car is a must for the added freedom and peace that this home provides. We highly recommend this house for anyone who enjoys peaceful immersion in the Italian Veneto region.

The house was perfect. Clean with well-equipped kitchen. I liked the table in the kitchen for dining. We cooked each night and I had all the tools I needed. Larger scissors would have been better. Hosts gave us good suggestions. Bassano is a gem of a town, worth seeing. The only negative was the too-friendly dog. We could not open the door to the patio because Buck wanted to come in. We are not comfortable around dogs. No mention of a dog was in the description. My husband could not enjoy an after-dinner outside smoke at all and that was disappointing. The dog was attracted to smoke. But the house, the hosts, the setting were all perfect. If you love dogs, then this place is for you.

We had a really great time in this beautiful place. The property is next to the owners' house, but they are very discrete, the guests have all privacy, separate terrace and entrance.
The house is very very clean, nicely decorated, wifi is reliable, there's plenty of space around the house for children to play. Communication with the owners was perfect and very correct.
The house is an ideal starting point for day trips to Vicenza (we didn't know this city, but it turned out to be a beautiful pearl, not to be missed), to Venice, Padua and Verona. You can enjoy the calm, remote and beautiful environment of the Berici Hills. But at the same time you're only a 10 minutes drive away from all shops down the hill. Thank you Costanza and family for letting us stay here!
