About this house rental
Beautiful cottage in Odsherred with kitchen-living room, fireplace, hallway, bathroom and three bedrooms. Open terrace and large garden for playing. Annex with sleeping accommodation. On the glacial Odsherred headland you are in a UNESCO Geopark. Enjoy the hilly surroundings here. On it you will find along the Tumulus Road, with the barrows and burial mounds, witnesses from the Stone and Bronze Ages, the remains of a forest village in Ulkerup abandoned 300 years ago, the Hempel Glass Museum and in the Odsherred Museum the copy of the sun chariot found in the bog Trundholm Mose. You will also see the erratic boulder Lommesten and the castle Næsholm Borg, which stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. On Odsherred there is also a nature school that lets you catch seafood, organizes butterfly safaris and expeditions into the forest, and invites you to troll and fox excursions. In the forest Grønnehaveskoven there is a fitness course, a beautiful dog forest and on the meadow Kongeengen springs the spring Thorskilde, which is said to have magical properties. Your children will also be thrilled by a visit to the Odsherred Fire Museum. Nearby, visit Sommerland Sjælland, galleries that are also typical of Odsherreds and Dragsholm Castle from the 13th century. There is also a gourmet restaurant in the castle. According to a legend, the castle is home to a ghost dressed in white. Don't miss the many galleries on the peninsula either. Havnebyen is the only real fishing harbor with cutters and a small smokehouse. Even recreational anglers will always get something on the hook here. In Nykøbing Sjælland you can do good shopping and enjoy the coffee house life. Seal safaris also depart from the harbor in Rørvig. From Rørvig you can sail to Hundested, from here it is only an hour's drive to Copenhagen.
