In the south of Crete near Triopetra, with sweeping views of the Libyan Sea, stands the Petra Mare property with pool on a large lawned plot. The name ‘Stone Sea’ refers to the main components of the property. Two solidly built semi-detached stone houses, another stone house with two flats and a detached house with a shared pool and wonderful sea views make up this beautiful property.
The Petra Mare semi-detached houses are located approx. 10 metres apart, approx. 40 to 60 metres from the two-storey stone house and another detached house at the edge of the plot. Each Petra Mare semi-detached house consists of a larger and a smaller half. A large, enclosed, flat lawn and garden plot, overgrown with trees and plants of the Cretan flora surrounds the beautiful Petra Mare property. The approx. 50sqm large, oval and shared pool (approx. 5 x 10m and 1.20 to 1.80m deep, not heatable, in operation from 1.05.-31.10.) with sun loungers and parasols offers its small and large guests enjoyable bathing fun, relaxation and refreshment on some hot days.
The functionally furnished semi-detached house Petra Mare 2 is located slightly offset, directly next to the semi-detached house Petra Mare 1.
Two-storey semi-detached house with covered, wind-protected entrance terrace. On the raised ground floor, approx. 7 steps up from the garden, is the open-plan kitchen with dining table. Adjacent to this is the bathroom and the bedroom. Direct access to the covered terrace with garden and sea views. From the kitchen there is direct access to the entrance terrace, the garden and the pool. On the upper floor there is a bathroom and a large bedroom with a covered terrace and wonderful views of the Libyan Sea and the surrounding coastal landscape.

Schönes Haus mit genügend Platz für 2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder. Pool und die nahegegelegenen Strände sind sehr schön und nicht überlaufen.
Nachts sehr ruhig.

Maison de vacances (professionnelle) très chouette Très bonne localisation pour ceux qui recherchent du calme et de la tranquillité en pleine nature… A deux pas de la plage ! Vue mer depuis le jardin et piscine au top (attention juste avec un jeune enfant, pas de barrière pour y accéder). L’intérieur et la déco sont quelques peu sommaires, pas vraiment chaleureux, mais suffisants pour passer un agréable moment ! Communication très facile avec la société qui s’occupe de la location Très propre Merci

The place is really nice, the posizion is not the best if you whant to visit other beaches, but ok. Maintenance is missing (the air conditioner upstairs cooled very little and both were very noisy, thermostat was broken so you had to turn the boiler on / off manually and if you forgot to turn it off ... the bathroom was floded! What about ants? Luckily we didn't eat at home ...
