Located about 5 miles from downtown Helen------Tucked away in the North Georgia Mountains, You will find "Sautee Woods" Cabin is all you will need to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday routine.This luxury cabin has hardwood exterior and tongue and groove pine interior---special windows bring the outside, inside. A massive stacked stone fireplace reaches to the sky! --fully equipped kitchen with electric range, refrigerator with ice and water in the door, microwave, dishwasher, and washer and dryer! We had a wonderful stay at Sautee Woods for Thanksgiving. It was the perfect place for our family. We had everything we needed, and the location to Helen was perfect. Would absolutely stay here again!

Pro's, awesome location to exploring the area. The cabin is well stocked with dishes. The layout is really accommodating. The Host was easy to contact and answer all my questions. Con's, dirty, it does not get deep cleaned at all. Could not use the broom or dustpan myself it was useless. The hot tub had issues that I was told about a day before check in, however it could still be used and the Host refunded me partially for the inconvenience. But because the place was so dirty I didn't trust the hot tub would be clean so we didn't use it. The furniture is so uncomfortable all of us were sore after leaving. Both trashcans on site were already full so we had to store our trash where the hot tub sits. The appliances are so old we didn't know if we should use them! For the price we paid I think we could do better and probably would not chose this place again. I don't know why in general these rentals are not cleaned better. If they did a deep cleaning and changed the furniture it would help. None of this ruined our trip though, it's just honest feed back.
