The Attico and The Groundfloor, two flats of the pool-Villa set in the mountains
Villa Eleonora is a charming Villa, part of the Bicocchi Complex. It’s located in Casa di Monte, a
secluded small village in the mountains (800 m) near Pistoia. The ideal place to visit the most
important Tuscany’s cities of art (Firenze, Lucca, Pistoia), to visit the famous SPA of
Montecatini Terme and to reach the Apennines with the renowned Abetone. The surroundings
are the perfect spot to walk or relax in the green forests, or to discover enchanting small villages
castled in the mountains ( Lucchio). Not far from there (20 km) also the Pistoia Zoo, that will be
perfect for an unforgettable day with your children. Next to us also a riding track.
By renting one of our flats you’ve at your disposal an enclosed lawn area with barbecue and the
swimming pool (12 x 5 m, deep 135 cm open 01.05 - 30.09)whose solarium is well equipped with
deck chairs, sun shades and warm shower shared between guests of all three apts. Only a couple of
meters from the pool away there is a small wooden cottage with WC & sink. In our Restaurant
Bicocchi (100 meters) you can taste typical dishes of Tuscany served with our creativity.
THE ATTICO

It’s made up by: entrance, living -room with single divan bed, colour TV with sat-connection, dining room, kitchen with oven, freezer, ironing board and iron, two
double bedrooms., each one with additional single bed, 1 bathroom with shower and
washing machine. Outdoor you can find a table, chairs and barbecue for your exclusive use.

Our spacious flat is located at the ground floor and is made up by
entrance/living.room with colour TV and sat. connection, kitchen corner with oven,
freezer, washing machine and ironing board and iron, two double bedrooms with
additional single bed and private bathroom (2) , external lawn area for the
exclusive use of clients with chairs and table.

We had a very nice week in the villa. Had the upper appartment, with the amazing view of the mountains. Long drive up and down the mountain, but definitely worth the view. Communication and check in-out went very smooth. The kitchen is a bit scaresly equipped, and could benefit from more utilities:-)

Super skøn beliggenhed i rolige omgivelser. Fin størrelse pool. Lidt mørk lejlighed. Vi boede øverst oppe - fantastisk udsigt. Meget lokalt - sker ik det vilde på stedet. 3 dage med børn var fint. Lidt svært bare at købe en is, der var ik så tit åben i restauranten/receptionen. Dog kan man bare henvende sig til personalet som altid går omkring i området, så åbner de bare :-) de er alle meget søde. Husk at handle inden I ankommer. Super lækre pizzaer 2 km nede af bjerget.
Alt i alt en rigtig go oplevelse, hvis man er til fred og ro i lækre omgivelser. Meget fint til prisen.

We spent a fantastic few days in the apartment of Eleonora. The view from balcony alone was worth the price we paid and we were fortunate that no one else was at the villa, so we had the pool to ourselves. Very relaxing stay and charming hosts - we can recommend this place!

Je merkt dat het een bedrijf is en niet een eigenaar die alleen een (deel van) zijn woning verhuurd. Wij misten de passie van de (dochter) van de eigenaar, niet geïnteresseerd in de huurder en dit zijn wij niet gewend!
Het interieur bestaat uit oude 'meuk' (versleten of soms stuk) maar dat is niet erg, het moet wel schoon zijn en dat was het niet, vooral de douchekuip is vies, kit is beschimmeld. Ook lagen er overal kleden die naar onze mening niet goed gezogen waren, deze hebben we aan de kant geschoven en geen aandacht meer aan besteed.
In tegenstelling tot het bovenstaande is het uitzicht fantastisch doordat je bovenop de berg zit en het zwembad is heerlijk én schoon! Ook de wasmachine is erg fijn en de BBQ doet het heel goed.
Er is geen bakker in de buurt, de supermarkt zit op 20 minuten rijden.
De activiteiten zijn eindeloos maar je moet wel de tijd nemen om er naartoe te rijden, het kost je namelijk 40 minuten om op de snelweg te komen. Dit komt omdat je rekening moeten houden met de weg naar beneden (en omhoog) die veel haarspeldbochten kent.
Florence, 1 uur en 15 minuten rijden
Lucca, 1 uur en 20 minuten rijden
Pisa, 1 uur en 45 minuten rijden, het strand nog ruim 20 minuten verder.
Een échte aanrader is Orrido di Botri, een kloof die je dmv geklim en geklauter door het koude water, leidt naar een waterval, je krijgt sowieso natte voeten maar het is adembenemend mooi daar!!
Aanrader is ook om ebikes te huren om in de buurt van Montespertoli het platteland te ontdekken op de fiets, geweldig!
Er zijn wandelingen in de bergen in overvloed, wij zijn met de gondel omhoog gegaan om naar Lago Scaffaiolo te lopen, mooie wandeling en niet moeilijk!
Al met al is de omgeving een aanrader maar wij zullen zelf niet meer terugkeren naar Villa Eleonora.
