Description: Enjoy a beautiful view of mountain living from this rugged timber frame one bedroom condo located in Chalakee, within Echota Resorts. This condo features a covered front entry and rear deck with an amazing Grandfather Mountain view. The view can be admired from the deck or from the large picture windows in the open kitchen and living room areas. The kitchen features custom kitchen cabinetry, granite countertops, hardwood floors, and stainless-steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything to prepare a meal inside or outside on the built-in-gas grill. The living room is cozy and inviting with a cultured stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a TV. Stay for a weekend to relax or an extended period and enjoy all the High Country has to offer. This condo is on the bottom floor (downstairs) with an elevator. In case of power outages or elevator equipment malfunctions, the condo will be stair access only.

An excellent place to rest and have peace and quiet! Location is super useful for popular hikes. The view is stunning. I’ve chosen to stay on the balcony that had a panoramic view of Grandfather Mountain over adventuring out in the mornings. The unit itself had everything I needed. Highlight is the grill on the balcony. Arrival was a little stressful (the door code didn’t work and bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly), however management resolved all issues by noon the next morning. Communication was on point and they’ve fairly compensated for my troubles at arrival. The pool/gym amenities were a great addition to the stay. It was relaxing to head to the indoor pool after the days of hiking. Note: The main large outdoor pool with stunning views is owners only for use. You wouldn’t have access to those amenities. I forgot my camera bag at departure. They found it and have mailed it back to my address. Overall, I’d recommend staying here and would gladly go back.

Very nice condo. Central to Blowing Rock, Boone and Banner Elk. Condo clean. Nice patio with view. Only issue was with grill. Only one burner worked.
