We've visited the Black Forest several times before, but we never found a place as beautiful as this. Very secluded and private, next to a small brook and with a backyard view of cows and goats grazing on the mountains. The house is large and cozy, and it had everything we needed. People taller than 1.70m beware though: you will bump your head against the doorways. Plenty of great hiking/mountainbiking routes close by. Nearby restaurants may close their kitchen relatively early (before 20:00), so calling beforehand is advised. No delivery options. House owner Waltraut reacted quickly, friendly, and reasonably to messages.

Unser Aufenthalt im Mittelbachhof in Wieden hat uns wie immer sehr gefallen, hier passt einfach alles, das liebevoll renovierte Haus und die Lage sind einfach toll!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Mittelbachhof sehr genossen. Der Hof ist geräumig und es ist alles da was man brauchen könnte. Die Vermieterin ist super nett und sehr responsiv. In der Umgebung gibt es sehr viel was man auch mit Kindern unternehmen kann - aber man kann auch sehr gut den ein oder anderen Tag im Garten des Hofes verbummeln!
