About this house rental
The house is located in the historical town of Port Louis, built in 1930 with battlement stones from the 17th century, with a small inner patio. It is very peaceful, located in front of the pleasant fishing harbour in Locmalo, 300 m from the beach. At your disposal: bicycles, kayaks, canoeing... Fully equipped house: dishwasher, microwave, large refrigerator, freezer, toaster, kettle, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, live box connection.
Ideal for the holidays of a large family or 2 families with children; board games, painting, or shellfish picking on the small sea of Gavres; Lorient can be accessed by car of course, but also by a water taxi! As well as Gavres and its large beach of 10 km! There are 2 sailing camps in the summer. Every island Belle Ile en Mer, Groix... has boat access. Market on Saturday mornings, in the summer night market every Tuesday night after the concerts, water jousting in Locmalo harbour.

Lengthy process of rental confirmation but partly due to website
Very much a family beachside home as in quite ‘lived in’ and some of cleanliness could have been better. No reserved parking space so you have to take your chance.
Good facilities ie domestic appliances for a large family group
Right on the water which compensates for a lot of the negatives

Location pleine de charme à deux pas de l’eau. Pour les amateurs de kayak et paddle, la mer est au bout du jardin !! La cour est un peu exiguë mais bien ensoleillée. Chambres confortables et logeables, dont une avec une vue splendide sur la baie.

Das war wirklich ein super Urlaub. Das Haus hat viel Charme, liegt direkt am Wasser und wir hatten sensationelles Wetter. Die Innenstadt von Port Louis erreicht man in 5 Minuten zu Fuß, mit den Fahrrädern, die zum Haus gehören in 1 Minute. Die Kanus wurden jeden Tag von den Kindern genutzt. Die Küche ist toll, nichts fehlt. Die Terrasse ist ruhig und nett. Die Lage des Hauses eignet sich sehr gut für viele Ausflüge, wie Carnac, Lorient ,Vanne, Aurais. ABER: das vierte Schlafzimmer auf dem Dachboden ist nur ein mit weißem Tuch vom Sperrmüll abgetrennter Bereich, da tröstet auch nicht die sensationelle Aussicht. In nur einem Schlafzimmer befindet sich ein leerer Schrank, d.h. man lebt zwei Wochen aus dem Koffer. Das Badezimmer ist modern, aber an der Decke schwarzer Schimmel. Überhaupt wirkt das Haus so, als sei es noch nicht fertig, im Bad stapeln sich Fliesen, im Garten Holzplatten, in einer Ecke ein Haufen Schutt.... Im Wohnzimmer befinden sich nur 5 Sitzgelegenheiten, bei schlechtem Wetter unmöglich. Die Bettdecken sind 2m x 2m groß, d.h. große Bezüge mitnehmen. TROTZDEM: es war ein super Urlaub ohne Fernsehen! Liebe Vermieterin! Investieren sie doch ein bisschen Geld in 2 Sofas, 3 Kleiderschränke und bestellen sie einen Container für den Schutt, dann haben sie das absolute Traumhaus, welches wir sehr gerne wieder mieten würden.
