About this villa rental
on a 8000m2 of land partly wooded with beautiful views of the Luberon and the village. Traditional Provencal villa: 3 bedrooms, bathroom with shower, bath, bidet. WC. Equipped kitchen overlooking living room and dining room forming a large living room. Terrace around the house with pergola area. 10x5m pool. Salt water chlorine free, outdoor shower and toilet in technical room. Tennis and bowling for athletes. The owners live in a wing of the house. Pets are not allowed.

We spent a bit more this year for a private pool and property in Provence. Phillippe and Francine are lovely hosts and live there, they will welcome you to the house and tell you all you need to know. They live in a separate part of the house so won’t disturb you. I think they only rent it out in peak season and then move back into the house.
Good points:
- Lovely views over to Luberon and the setting sun over the pool is lovely
- Private. Phillippe and Francine take great care to leave the pool for your personal use and not share it. Same with the table tennis and boule
- Large lounge area
- Fly nets stop the wasps and mosquitos in peak season. We had to retire inside a few times. It was a saviour for us and the children
- New patio and good condition
- big fridge freezer (rare) and well stocked kitchen
- child friendly, pool lovely in the sun
- great views towards Menerbes and Luberon
- superb road cycling
Minor points
- No charcoal BBQ (no one’s fault - they are banned due to the fire risk!)
- no bakery nearby for breakfast, 3/5 miles away
- some fittings quite old and could do with an update. Microwave & oven
- Visitors/others on site, so not 100% private, but wouldn’t stop us going back. Super location

Nous avons eu un coup de coeur pour cette maison qui était prometteuse via les photos mais qui est encore plus agréable à vivre en vrai. Nous avons été merveilleusement bien accueillis par Philippe et son épouse. Le couple vit sur cette propriété, et leur présence est à la fois discrète et sympathique. Ce sont des gens adorables !
La maison est d'une propreté irréprochable. Elle reste fraîche, elle est spacieuse, la terrasse côté cuisine est tellement agréable, surtout le matin très tôt. La piscine est très bien entretenue, elle est magnifique... Philippe a travaillé dur pour l'aménager dans le style provençal avec les murets en pierre typique de la région. Nous avons pu profiter des beautés du Luberon avec nos enfants, sans faire trop de route, le point de départ étant idéal. Ménerbes est apparemment connu pour ses soirées fraîches, autant dire qu'en cas de canicule c'est un bon plan !
Peut être que nos chemins se croiseront à nouveau, avec un immense plaisir en ce qui nous concerne.

Nous nous sommes sentis chez nous dès notre arrivée. Intérieur, extérieur, tout y était pour passer de belles vacances: la piscine, le ping pong et pétanque, la vue, les différents endroits pour prendre nos repas. Je recommande sans hésiter. Endroit idéal pour se reposer et découvrir les multiples beautés du Luberon.

La maison est parfaite (conforme aux photos et avec une literie excellente). De plus, elle est au calme avec une vue splendide sur le Lubéron. La piscine et le jardin sont très bien entretenus les baignades, parties de ping-pong et de pétanque ont été très appréciées par les petits comme par les grands. Les repas peuvent être pris au choix sur la terrasse ou à l'ombre des arbres dans le jardin. Enfin, les propriétaires sont discrets, toujours disponibles si besoin et surtout très sympathiques.
Nous avons passé un formidable séjour et reviendrons avec plaisir !
