About this house rental
Detached vacation home, created through the careful renovation of an old barn, with large private garden and equipped veranda for pleasant moments of rest and conviviality overlooking the outdoor area for common use with the guests of ITP125: large natural plot with swimming pool, barbecue area with grill, wood-burning oven and equipped gazebo, play area for young and old and the rest area with deck chairs. The cottage is located in an area with many medieval hamlets such as Vicopisano with its castle with secret passages (3 km), Calci with the majestic Carthusian monastery and museum (12 km), the small village of Lari with its massive fortress ( 13 km). Through a beautiful bike path you can reach Pisa (18 km) with the famous Leaning Tower in the spectacular Square of Miracles and where you can stroll through the characteristic alleys down to the river Arno. For wellness lovers, there are the thermal baths of Uliveto, San Giuliano Terme and Casciana Terme with day and evening activities. Also within easy reach are the art cities of Lucca (26 km) and Florence (60 km). Only 30 km away are the beaches and the sea of the Etruscan coast. 1 km from the village of Fornacette, reachable also by bike path, with stores of all kinds and various services, typical products, excellent restaurants and pizzerias.
