About this house rental
Our listed holiday home "Einfach Schön" was completely renovated in 2014 and lovingly furnished by us as a holiday home.
It is in the immediate vicinity of the river (Siegufer approx. 20 meters away), in the center of Dattenfeld, a small, tranquil place in the municipality of Windeck, in the "Windecker Ländchen" in the Rhein Sieg district (NRW), approx. 1 hour's drive from Cologne away.
Shops such as supermarket, bakery, banks, pharmacy, doctors and restaurants are within walking distance,
• Living space about 120 square meters
• Allocation for 4 - 6 people
• 2 bedrooms with double beds, extra bed possible, TV in each bedroom
• 1 large bathroom with steam shower, sink and toilet
• 1 large bathroom with whirlpool, sink and toilet
• 1 large living, dining and kitchen area with fireplace
• Roof terrace with sauna, outdoor shower and seating
• Garden use and barbecue area
• Use of the garage
Bedrooms: 2 bedrooms with sleeping facilities for 6 people
each bedroom has a TV, 1 baby bed can be placed
Bathroom: Bathroom 1 steam shower, sink and toilet

Wir hatten ein schönes Mädelswochenende zu viert in diesem sehr geschmackvoll und gut ausgestattetem Fachwerkhäuschen. Es liegt zwar direkt an der Durchgangsstraße aber die Fenster sind sehr gut und dicht. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön und herrlich zum Spazieren und Wandern. Und die Sauna war der Hit!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Einziger Kritikpunk wäre die schöne Sauna, hier schließt die Tür nicht dicht und es fehlt an Lavasteinen etwas. Wir würden gerne aber nochmal wieder kommen!

Sehr gut gefallen hat uns die Ausstattung des Hauses, vorallem die Küche, die liebevolle Einrichtung, die Sauna, die bequemen Betten, der Kamin sowie die Sauberkeit in den Wohnräumen. Man merkt, dass sich hier jemand Gedanken gemacht hat, was man in so einem Haus als Feriengast alles brauchen könnte.
Enttäuscht waren wir:
- über die Lage des Hauses direkt an der Hauptstraße und dem damit verbundenen starken Verkehrslärm im Wohnzimmer
- darüber, dass im Obergeschoss (Schlafzimmer und Bad) keine einzige Türe schließt; die Türen sind komplett verzogen und nur mit roher Gewalt abschließbar
- über den Zustand des Whirlpools (Schmutz und schlechter Geruch, der aus den Düsen kam)
- dass die Dusche sich in dem kältesten, nicht beheizbaren Raum des Hauses befinden
In Summe waren wir damit mit der Preis-Leistung nicht ganz zufrieden.
