About this farm stay rental
Our typical Black Forest farmhouse is situated in one of the most beautiful spots of the village of Ibach, right next to the forest in a sunny and quiet location away from busy roads. We are at an altitude of 1015 m (3140 ft) with views down the open highland valley of Ibach. During clear weather you can see the breathtaking panorama of the Swiss, French and Austrian Alps - peaks such as Mont Blanc and the famous trio of Eiger North Face, Moench and Jungfrau to name but a few. The relaxing apartment is very roomy and well furrnished. During your stay at our farm you have use of the lawn with a nice children playground. You have direct access to the wide ranging hiking trails around Ibach, in summer und winter.
Nordic-Walking: If you like you can test the new sport of Nordic - Walking. This type of sport comes from Finland, but is also very popular now in Germany. You walk like nordic skiing with two sticks. It´s very good for almost all muscles of the body. Our own Nordic-Walking trainer can show you how to do this sport.
Mountain-biking and hiking: Ibach is a very fine area to do the sport of mountain-biking and hiking. There are a lot of serveral ways and different difficulties to do. There are also cards you can look and take with you on your walk.

We did have a very good time at the Black Forest farmhouse. Mr. and Mrs Speicher were very friendly to us. We would like to visit the same place again.
