About this house rental
On the edge of the village Gräfenroda, known by the Gartenzwerg-Manufaktur, is our idyllic holiday house, surrounded by wonderful mixed forest, on a 1. 000 sqm plot at the Dörrberg.
In winter 16 / spring 17 the house was completely renovated. Many nostalgic elements have been maintained and complemented by a modern bathroom.
Two people can comfortably sit on 40 square meters, for another guest is a comfortable sofa bed available.
The living / dining room has a large dining table, satellite TV, stereo and a wood stove.
The outdoor area has a large sun terrace, which is partially covered and faces south.
The house is located in a very quiet and nevertheless traffic-favorable location. Restaunrants, cafes, doctors, pharmacies, a supermarket, butcher and much more, can be found directly in the village. Just a few minutes on foot you can reach the railroad station Dörrberg. Hourly you can go to Oberhof, or direction Erfurt.
A few kilometers away lies the beautiful Lütsche lake. It invites all year round to wonderful hikes and in the summer of course for bathing.
Hikers will love the proximity to the Rennsteig and mountain bike friends will get their money's worth in the Höhelagen area around Oberhof.
Pets are allowed after return.

Wir waren eine Woche mit unserer kleinen Tochter (8 Monate) in der Berghütte. Es hat uns alles in allem gut gefallen. Eine kleine Datsche auf dem Sonnen-Hang bei Gräfenroda. Wir hatten super Wetter und haben vor allem Terasse und Grill genossen. Die Gegend hat mit Stauseen, Oberhof und tollen Wanderwegen auch viel zu bieten.
Allerdings war die Hütte mit unserer Tochter grenzwertig: Über der Terrasse ist ein großes Wespennest und am Terassengeländer blüht Efeu (oder Wein...?), wodurch Bienen und Wespen dauerhafte Gäste auf der Terasse sind. Für ein Kind im Krabbelalter nicht ideal.
Auch sonst ist die Hütte für Kleinkinder nicht gut ausgestattet. Kinder sind zwar willkommen, aber zu klein sollten sie nicht sein, um dort unterzukommen.

Sauber.
Altbackene Einrichtung.
Die Matratzen sind katastrophal.
Ist alles kleiner, als die Bilder versprechen. Auch für nur 2 Personen zu klein.
Gastronomie in Grävenroda praktisch nicht mehr vorhanden.
Kein W-LAN.
Im Sommer ist es bestimmt schön.
