What an amazing stay we had! All the modern amenities within a cozy and private cabin. Perfect location for hiking and exploring the surrounding trails and towns. Martin and Petra could not have been more gracious hosts! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and had everything we might need. Already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic week in Martin and Petra’s lovely cottage. Lots of great walking (if hilly!) and cycling opportunities. We visited Freiburg, Titisee, Donaueschingen and a few wineries. Enjoyed the visits from the chickens and cats and watching the swallows swoop past. Very restful and highly recommended.

We can thoroughly recommend this property. It is modern, beautifully designed, well appointed and extremely comfortable - very peaceful too! The views from the property are superb - and from the terrace, you can see the little town of Kirchzarten nestling in the valley.Martin and Petra Tritschler were very welcoming and helpful - they live next door to the property - and got the balance just right, between giving ample privacy yet readily available when there was any enquiry. Special features - the Swedish-designed stove, which gives useful additional warmth and a homely glow - a most comfortable and firm bed and excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. This is an excellent centre for visiting Black Forest attractions, including Freiburg, and with Kirchzarten and good local shopping just 2 miles away. Many local walks - that can be done right from the front door!Wed gladly stay in this property again and put it on our top ten list!
