The cozy holiday home with a quiet location in the middle of the country is located 1.5 km from Dishoek beach, on the outskirts of Koudekerke. Koudekerke is a village located 5 km from Vlissingen and 5 km from Middelburg. The bike path to the beach begins 100 meters from the apartment. From this starting point you can also go hiking.
The house is cozy and clean and has a sunny terrace. The house consists of a living room with kitchen, loft with bedroom and a bathroom downstairs with shower, toilet, washing machine and base cabinet with two sinks. The bedroom has two Auping beds. The beds are made on arrival. In the kitchen you have an induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, combi microwave, kettle, Senseo coffee machine and toaster.
There is a parking space for a car next to the holiday house.

Sehr schönes Häuschen. Die Frösche (saisonal im Froschteich vorm Haus) haben uns nicht gestört und wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen

Ein hübsches und sehr sauberes Cottage am Rande des Ortes Koudekerke. Wir liebten es, beim Frühstück oder Abends aus dem Fenster zu schauen mit Blick auf den zauberhaften Garten. Diesen haben die Gastgeber Eric und Irene im Stil des niederländischen Gartenarchitekten Piet Oudolf angelegt. Bei einem Rundgang zeigt Eric gerne den Garten und gibt Tipps und Infos zu den Pflanzen. Auch sonst bekamen wir viele Tipps, die so nicht im Reiseführer stehen, danke dafür!
Fahrräder kann man im Ort leihen und je nachdem, wie ambitioniert man ist, kann man die Halbinsel Walcheren auch per Rad erkunden, das Radwegenetz ist jedenfalls perfekt ausgebaut.
Einkaufen: ist möglich im Ort (Aldi und Jumbo), dort gibt es auch einen tollen Bäcker mit einer riesigen Auswahl an Brot, Brötchen und sehr leckerem Gebäck.
Strand: zu Fuß läuft man ca. 30 Minuten ( mit dem Fahrrad ca. 10 Minuten, Parkgebühr für's Auto erforderlich), es gibt mehrere Zugänge, bei denen es auch einen Strandpavillon gibt.
Der Strand ist sowohl bei Ebbe als auch bei Flut sehr tief, der Sand ist hell und sehr fein. Hier kann man kilometerweit laufen oder tolle Sonnenuntergänge beobachten.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen, zumal wir gaaanz dringend mal absolute Ruhe gebraucht haben, was wir hier gefunden haben. Ich werde den Ausblick vom gemütlichen Sessel aus auf den Garten sehr vermissen.... Vielen Dank, Eric und Irene und ganz bestimmt " Tot Ziens"

Für Naturliebhaber ist hier so einiges zu entdecken: verschiedene Vogel-, Libellen- und Froscharten. In dem Garten, den man mit benutzen darf, kann man die Liegestühle platzieren, wo man möchte. Sehr guter Ort zum völligen Abschalten in absoluter Ruhe. Für manche Naturgeräusche in bestimmten Monaten legt die freundliche Irene Ohrstöpsel parat. Und Eric kann vieles über die Pflanzen erzählen, die im Hinterhof an Interessierte abgegeben werden. Beide Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und diskret. Wir sind völlig abgetaucht. Ein rundum schöner Urlaub.
