About this villa rental
Entering the house, the entrance hall opens on 2 levels (ground floor + gallery/first floor) with a Steinway concert grand piano. The hall leads to the spacious, elegantly furnished living room and dining area (2 tables each with 6 and 10 seats) with TV / DVD, stereo, an open fireplace and bar. At the ground floor there are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with toilets. 2 bedrooms with panorama view, the other bedrooms are facing the garden behind the house. Upstairs (1rst floor) there are 3 guest rooms and 1 bathroom (shower bath) with a toilet. On the gallery level there is a sitting area with a small library and access to the bathroom and all bedrooms. The largest guest room on this level provides beds for 4 persons. The other 2 bedrooms have space for 2 guests each. At the ground floor there is also a comfortable kitchen (oven, micro wave, dish washer, separate storage room, large fridge etc.). The living room opens to an inviting terrace and a wide garden with a fantastic view over the Lake of Sarnen and the mountains of Obwalden. At the basement of the house there is an indoor-playground (the former pool): the KIDS' JUNGLE. The parents may enjoy BILLARD - DARTS - TABLE SOCCER.

Bijou Sur Lac is simply amazing! It has been setup with everything that you would need for a great stay with everything really thought out. Having kids that were aged from 7 to 12, the onsite play gym was an absolute hit. The views of the lake are stunning and the location is great to take day trips to many key places. Would absolutely stay here again!

This house has everything - even when the weather was nice we didn't want to leave, just enjoying the amenities and the stunning view was all we needed. The owners and manager are super nice and accommodating. Highly recommended!!!

My stay at this house was absolutely perfect. The beautifully decorated house provided us with unmatched comfort during the summer. Located by a beautiful lake, it offered breathtaking views of the Swiss landscape, with the lake, mountains, and lots of greenery. The location is very central and allows access to the best places in Switzerland in a short amount of time.
The outdoor area was fantastic. We loved relaxing on the terrace and enjoying meals while looking at that beautiful view. Evenings spent lounging and enjoying the stunning scenery were a highlight.
Inside, every room was designed for maximum comfort. The cozy living room even had a raclette table, a very well-equipped kitchen, restful bedrooms with beautiful views, and comfortable bathrooms that made our stay incredibly pleasant.
The house has everything a family could need. It has utensils of all kinds. Everything we needed was there. There was even a wine cellar full of wines and beverages for us to choose from.
There were even electric bikes available for stunning rides along the lakeshore.
The service was exceptional. Manuela was incredibly attentive and ensured all our needs were met. There were no negatives, making our family vacation truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking to enjoy Switzerland.

We’ve just returned to Singapore from a 18 days Europe holiday.
I would highly recommend this house to stay in Switzerland especially if you are travelling with children.
My family of 10 adults + 4 kids + 2 babies stayed in this house for 6days.
There are 7 bedrooms just nice to fit all of us with our own privacy. Our children had so much fun at basement of the house where you find a playground. Whenever we can’t find our children, we surely know that they are having fun in the playground.
There is also an entertainment room with pool table, dart board & a Soccer game, good for adults in the evening.
We had a BBQ dinner on Christmas Eve in the patio.
Our overall experience is excellent!
You will never have a chance to feel bore in the house.
The host are friendly too!
