On a rocky outcrop overlooking the lake, located in sunny south-west location on the outskirts of Pino, a typical northern Italian village, and only 1.5 km from the Swiss Ticino, lies the 9-family house "Casa Roccia" approx 40 m above Lake Maggiore. It is an oasis of tranquility, because only at this point of the entire eastern shore of both the road and the railway through a tunnel or a gallery run. Overall, the tastefully furnished 2-bedroom corner apartment has a floor space of about 50 m² and a fantastically located balcony of about 20 m² with a gigantic view of Lake Maggiore. So the balcony can quickly become your third room. In the event that you do not want to be completely isolated from the rest of the world on holiday, you will have free wireless Internet access. The access data are in the guest book in the entrance area of the apartment. In about 5 minutes walk to a "mom and pop shop" and in about 1 km away is the beach, a tennis court from the village and 2 good restaurants. In just under 5 minutes you are in the forest with a wide network of wonderful walking and hiking trails. The apartment has a private car park. Pet are allowed. Summary of reviewsBeautiful surroundings and location, but the apartment was quite dirty. We had to clean up before we could settle in. Weak WiFi was also a downside.
