About this cottage rental
This cottage feels like "Fun" from the moment you walk in the door. One of the first things you'll notice is its beautiful view of Clear Lake. You are sure to be relieved from the stresses of your daily life. Relax in the screened in porch, take a boat out for a spin around the lake, and enjoy a memorable stay at this cozy cottage. Look forward to firing up the charcoal grill for cookouts in the fresh air or roast s'mores over the fire pit. This is a beautiful cottage with lakefront access.
After a busy day out on the water you will enjoy creating a delicious meal in the spacious kitchen, fully equipped with everything you'll need to prepare your favorite meals. 3 inviting bedrooms with comfy full size beds for a peaceful slumber. Each room has a closet and a dresser. Two pull out sofa's offer additional sleeping space
Clear Lake is perfect for fishermen and boaters alike. We are an all sports lake great for sailing, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, paddle boating, paddle boarding, fishing & swimming. The kids will LOVE the sandy beach and swim area at the island. Come and relax, for an additional $75 fee a boat lift is available for a speed boat and a boat lift is available for a pontoon. We are on a shared dock with 16 other boats. Or cast your line (provided you have an Indiana Fishing License) on our shared dock, play in the sand at the island or at the public beach. or go for a swim off the dock! Our dock offers a gorgeous sunrise and sunset view. The dock goes in the third week of May and comes out the third week of September every year. We are approximately 100 feet from the waterfront.
This completely new inside cottage is fully equipped with all your needs, nice size furnished kitchen. Sunroom windows provide scenic view of the lake. Enjoy the screened in porch - Ideal for playing cards
The boat lift is $75 extra per week provided that it is available. Check on the availability when making your reservation.
We are told the wifi service is very poor all the way around the lake. We have tried Frontier and currently have Mediacom. We are trying everything we can to provide the best wifi service we can get, but occasionally we have very poor service.
Other Details To Note
We prefer to book Saturday to Saturday during the summer months.
April -Memorial Day and Labor Day to November we will book weekends.
Additional Rules
Your security, safety, and overall experience during your stay at this beautiful place are our biggest priorities.
-Check in is at 2:00 Saturday
-Check Out is at 10:00 Saturday
-Please treat this as your own home during your stay
-No Pets are allowed.
-No Smoking inside the cottage please. Smoking outside only. All butts or other remnants must be removed or trashed appropriately by Guest before check out.
-QUIET enjoyment of the outdoors is A MUST (our neighbors Thank You)
-Loud or disruptive behavior WILL jeopardize your ability to return.
-No open flames in the house, including candles
-Must be at least 25 years old to book
-Quiet time 10 pm to 10 am
Notify us immediately if any issues arise. We'd rather try to get the issue fixed rather than have the quality of your stay compromised. Let us know if you have any questions!
Make yourself comfortable, but please be considerate of our home and neighbors. Children are welcome, but house is not "child-proofed". No smoking or illicit drugs on premises. NO PETS. Gatherings welcome, no rowdy parties please. Kindly leave premises as you found them, strip beds and leave dirty linens in the utility room. Extra cleaning & trash disposal fees may be added. IN fishing laws apply.
Parking is limited to 3 vehicles in the yard. You are not permitted to park at the public access. That is for fisherman. There is extra space available in the yard across the street.
Garbage: Please stow all garbage in the receptacle located at the back of the house.
Please let us know if anything is missing, broken or if there is any problem whatsoever.
Security Deposit - if you damage the home, you may be charged up to $500
Before Check-Out: (Check Out is 10:00 am)
* Take out all trash/recycle from the house. The receptacles are located at the east side of the back of the house by the white fence.
* Clean dishes and place on drying rack or dishwasher (they do not need to be put away).
Kindly leave premises as you found it, strip beds including sofa beds and leave dirty linens in the laundry room.
* If utilizing grill, please clean it off when done.
* Turn off air conditioning or heat.
* Close all windows.
* Lock cottage and leave key in lock box.
Failure to complete Check-Out steps will result in a $25 fee for each step missed.
Please let us know if anything is missing, broken or if there is any problem whatsoever.

Very well-located cottage. The heat exchangers had stopped working, and the owners were very responsive and installed two window AC units, which cooled the place nicely during a beastly hot week. The heat exchangers were fixed several days into our stay, and the cooling was effective. Bedrooms each have full size beds. The kitchen, living area, and patio and yard were all lovely. We pretty much used the place only to sleep, as we were visiting other people staying elsewhere at the lake.

This cottage was clean and the colors were lovely and landscaping wonderful. The pots and pans needed to be replaced due to scratched harmful Teflon. The two couches were uncomfortable and well used. The wifi is not usable 90 % of the time . The view is great and the sun porch and yard are great!! Need new furniture with an easy chair for long stays!! Who needs wifi on vacation anyway!
