The holiday farm is situated in the heart of the Maremma countryside of Santa Fiora, 800 m slm, at the foot of the Monte Amiata (20 minutes). It is part of a working farm set on the grounds of the natural parkof Arcidosso. Farmhouse totally renovated with care to the tradition and the original building. Ideal place to relax in the total quietness, but also ideal base to visit the archeological sites, the Saturnia health Spa, the beautiful sea is only 1 hours bycar. The owners offer the opportunity to visit their own dairy with direct sale of cheese, ricotta cheese and products derived from the milk of their sheep breeding very old, comfortable working farm "Santa Fiora retreat", surrounded by fields. 4 apartments in the property. 7 km from the centre of Arcidosso, in a secluded, sunny, elevated position, in the countryside. For shared use: property, meadow, swimming pool (8 x 4 m, depth 140 cm, seasonal availability: 04.Jun. - 01.Oct.). Outdoor shower, barbecue. Private: garden furniture. In the house: washing machine. La prenotazione e le indicazioni stradali sono state semplici, efficienti e rapide. L'appartamento era pulito e fresco come da descrizione. L'alloggio è immerso nella campagna è quindi normale trovare in casa e nel giardino gli animali che la vivono inoltre i vicini hanno cani da pastore e gatti liberi. Il paesaggio che ci circondava è davvero suggestivo e rilassante. La zona è ben fornita di sentieri e centrale per raggiungere altri luoghi turistici di interesse. Faremo sicuramente ritorno!!

Ubytování je ve venkovském stylu. Kamenný dům, ve kterém není horko ani v noci se super umístěným bazénem s výhledem do údolí. Doprava vlastním autem nutná. Umístění je cca 700 metrů nad mořem. K moři cca 65 km. Dobré výchozí místo pro výlety po Toskánsku. Správkyně ubytování velmi ochotná.

The property is rustic but well equpped. It’s an old farmhouse in the hills, so things are rough around the edges, this is not a property with a manicured garden and upscale sofas. I enjoyed that, and especially loved the views over the hills, eating fresh figs from the tree, and lounging in the sun by the pool. There are a few beautiful villages in the area and food shopping is easy, but because it’s in the hills the journeys to other places (the beach, Orvieto, lake belsano) can be quite long.

Door de ligging van dit appartement Quadrifoglio daalde de relatieve vochtigheid binnen amper (tussen 60 en 82!). Een reusachtige boom beneemt het uitzicht en blokkeert elke zonnestraal . De beloofde buitenruimte bevindt zich onder deze boom en dus permanent nat en vuil. Met afgunst zagen we de ruime en zonnige tuintjes van de andere twee appartementen met parasol, ligzetels, tafel en stoelen.We voelden ons wat bedrogen. Keuken, bed, badkamer OK. Zwembad prima. Teveel opdringerige honden katten.
