About this apartment rental
40sqm + 15sqm of private garden and patio. Private entrances on the ground floor, table for outdoor dining, bench and rose garden. Small living room with sofa, kitchenette equipped with table, double or twin bedroom, wardrobe, desk, bathroom with shower, mosquito nets on the windows, wi-fi internet.
We offer you a stay in the heart of Tuscany where culture, environment and human relationships interpenetrate and harmonize. At the top, on a hill, which is also the seat of an ancient 11th century medieval tower, Macinella is located "Torre del Colombaio", for this reason a place of considerable historical and cultural interest. With the exceptional view of San Gimignano and all its territory, you can enjoy a relaxing holiday in contact with history and nature in a welcoming, familiar and artistic environment. Our four apartments are authentic period homes recovered according to the architectural style of the place, some are frescoed and carefully decorated. Our life is in intimate contact with nature and with the land that we love and wish to convey to our guests the experiences and tradition that are preserved and respected by us. The estate has 10 hectares of land, olive trees, cypresses, meadows, woods suitable for picnics, a little lake, walks, trekking, archery and riding stables nearby. There is a 6m x 12m masonry swimming pool new with hydromassage from which you can admire the wonderful view of the Tuscan landscape in complete relaxation. The land is worked directly by the owners who live there and you can, together with them, participate both in its cultivation and in the use of its genuine products on site. We have four fully furnished apartments, each with a particular feature. Your privacy is assured. It is possible to discover countless particular things (visit to the medieval tower, visit to the top of the tree, pic nic to the wood and little lake). We could not be happier with our stay. We were looking for a comfortable, relaxing base of operations in Tuscany and we're thrilled with the location, the ambiance and the hosts. The pool was a delightful feature during the hot spell we encountered. The unit had everything we needed but what stood out was the tranquility and surrounding beauty. Would return without hesitation.

We loved our stay. This is a beautiful spot. Very restful & quiet with an amazing pool! The hosts were really friendly & helpful. Everything was perfect, we wouldn't hesitate to return.

The property is very beautiful and rustic-it is off a gravel road so a car is needed, but it is not far from a supermarket and restaurants. The pool was delightful after a long hot day exploring the region, and the property was very large and perfect for multiple evening strolls. Stelio and Rossella were extremely friendly, accommodating, and helpful hosts. We were even greeted by one of the chickens and their dog! Stelio arranged a wine tasting with one of his friends, which was delightful. The bathroom is in need of some updates, but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

If your looking for an authentic stay in the Tuscan countryside this is it; the location is up a gravel road and set in the stunning surroundings of Tuscany.
Parking is on site and allocate to each unit and the hosts whilst speaking a little English are really friendly and way to reach via WhatsApp.
If, like me, your more used to 4/5* hotels this could be out of your comfort as this is more like a 2/3* self catering ski hotel but it has everything you need.
Shops / supermarket is a 5/10 min drive away and has everything you need.
