About this house rental
Ideally located between Caen la mer and Suisse Normande in Sainte Honorine du Fay, your cottage has just been completely renovated. It is a haven of peace in the heart of a property whose family history dates back to the 16th century. Constituted of a building annexed to the castle, the lodging, of a capacity of reception of 10/11 people has all the facilities of comfort wished: 3 parental rooms with their bathrooms or of annexed shower. 2 bedrooms each composed of 2 and 3 separate beds. A games room with billiards and table football. A living / dining room with sofas and a large fireplace, wood is provided! A new kitchen and fully equipped with oven, microwave, combined fridge / freezer, dishwasher, washer / dryer. WC in DRC and on the floor. WiFI on site. Outside: private garden on the farm side with outdoor table and barbecue. Access by crossing the Castle Park (the park is private) to the pool and its pool house (sun loungers available) and tennis court synthetic grass. The pool is usually open from May to September, depending on the weather! Ping Pong and bicycles on request, On-site parking. Our dog friends are welcome with a slight supplement.

What a beautiful and charming VRBO. We loved the tour of the property by Philippe. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. We had a great time.

We had a fantastic time. The Clos had everything we needed internally and externally. Kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms and bedrooms clean and Philippe was a gem. He was incredible helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend this property.

The area is beautiful, and the accommodation looked amazing. We received a warm welcome, and because we had a basic understanding of the language, we had no trouble following the enthusiastic host’s explanations. He was very helpful in answering our questions. The accommodation was fully equipped with all modern comforts.

This property was absolutely perfect for us. We loved the country setting, the proximity to the village with its boulangerie and butcher, and the relatively easy access to a number of great sites (Bayeux, Falaise, the D-Day beaches). The property was extremely well equipped and comfortable. We loved the kitchen and living areas that let our family gather together for meals and socializing. There was also enough private space for people to retreat for quiet time. The pool table got lots of use. Philippe, the caretaker, was a wealth of information — and fresh eggs. The owners were extremely helpful as needed. All in all, a fantastic property for those who love a beautiful rural setting with history.
