About this house rental
Welcome to the "Old Forge of Gleisweiler", built in 1738.
We tried to preserve and emphasize the charm of the old half-timbered house, also as part of our extensive renovation work (in autumn / winter 2017).
A newly renovated holiday home is rented in the beautiful Gleisweiler "Palatinate Nice" in the southwestern Palatinate.
The place with the most hours of sunshine in Germany.
82 sqm (ground floor 33 sqm + first floor 49 sqm) of living space are rented plus a 33 sqm terrace.
There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor.
A large bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200)
and a small bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200).
On the first floor you will find a spacious, newly furnished living room with access to the terrace. The terrace offers a fantastic view over the Rhine plain and invites you to relax and linger.
On the upper floor there is the completely renewed bathroom (shower, toilet and sink) as well as the fully equipped new kitchen (dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven with convection, fridge with separate ice compartment, microwave and Tchibo Caffissimo coffee machine).
The cozy beautiful "Palatinate Nice" is definitely worth a visit !!!!
Our house was classified with **** stars by the German Tourism Association in July 2018.

When arriving, we were pleasantly surprised that the surroundings of the house were even more beautiful than the photos suggested. Indeed sitting outside on the terrace provides great views of the surroundings, which include wooded hills, a typical German village, and the wide vineyards of the Pfalz region.
The owner gave clear instructions for checking in beforehand, the house is well-equiped, clean and the beds were good. Overall we were very satisfied with this accomodation.

Wir hatten eine tolles verlängertes Wochenende zu viert in einem wunderschönen Haus, haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt, alles sehr unkompliziert und gastfreundlich, tolle Wanderungen in der Nähe, super Dachterrasse! Gerne wieder!!
