The apartment is suitable for 2 persons.
This apartment consists of a cozy living room / dining room a large double bed in the modern Bavarian flair of a small dining group and a cuddly seating group. This room is equipped with a satellite TV and a stereo system. WIFI is also available.
This is followed by a modern and fully equipped kitchen, equipped with a fridge and induction cooker, dishes and cookware.
The bathroom invites you to extensive showering experience through a rain shower and is equipped with a 'quaint' vanity.
Bed linen and towels are included.
A washing machine room and a tumble dryer are available.
The garden invites you to relax. A trip to nature or a relaxed walk through the village, as well as a trip to the famous cultural monuments are within a short time reachable from here.

Our holiday apartment 'Sissi' is located in the König Ludwig Strasse 6, not far from the Oberammergau town center.
Location:
On foot you are in about 4 minutes walk in the center, with all its specialty shops, restaurants, cafes and venues such. B. the Passionspieltheater. Hikes, bike tours start about 100 meters from the house. A sledge mountain and the Sonnenloipe can be reached in winter also in about 4 minutes. The ski area Kolben, the Laberbergbahn or the swimming pool are max. 4 minutes by car. The train and bus station is about 10 minutes away. So an ideal location to leave the car.

Ideal spot for exploring the region. This lovely apartment had literally everything we needed for our three night visit. Safe and secure feeling, comfortable bed, great shower, fantastic location - what more do you need? I was initially concerned about not being able to park directly in front, but it was easy to find a place to park just a short walk away and it wasn't an issue at all. I would absolutely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to suggest it to friends.

Ideal hideaway spot for the Passion Play. Close to village centre but very quiet. Very comfortable bed. Communication excellent wirh very helpful host. Kitchen well equipped but would have been good to have had some coffe and tea available

Apartment was central to the village of Oberammergau and an easy 10 minute walk to "downtown" and the Passion Play Theater - which is why we were there. It was much smaller than expected. We had four good size bags and it was tight getting them all in and still be able to walk around them.
Owner communication was OK, but we had trouble deciphering the parking instructions and finally got clarification of the "blue parking" areas from the TI office. We wound up parking in a paid lot which wound up being 7 euro per day vs the 5 euro we expected.
We did appreciate the presence of a communal washer and dryer and were able to refresh our wardrobe while we were there.
All-in-all, a good rental for the brief time we were there. If we were to stay longer though, we'd look for a hotel or a larger apartment.
