About this apartment rental
47 m2 living space: bright apartment with a view of the large garden, new kitchen (ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, Liebherr fridge and freezer, kettle, coffee maker, cutlery, egg cooker, coffee, tea, sugar, spices ...) with table and Chairs, bed 140x200 + sofa bed (about 140x200), bright bathroom with shower and window (hair dryer available). Wi-Fi for free.
Large beautifully landscaped garden with seating and sun loungers. Absolutely quiet environment, no street noise.
Parking free of charge on public streets. Limited parking directly in front house driveway. If you wish, you are welcome to rent a private parking garage on the premisses next to the house (10€/night; payable at the time of arrival).
* A fifth person can sleep on a comfortable guest mattress upon request *
Shops (bakery, supermarkets, weekly market) on foot or by car in a few minutes.
The tram stop can be reached in 5 minutes on foot (ride to city center / Freiburg Cathedral 14 minutes). By bike you also need so long in the Freiburg city center (distance: 6 km).
A public children playground and a separate swimming pool (with a very large lawn) and sports / tennis courts are 200 meters away.
From the house garden you can see directly the Black Forest (10 min walk). Wonderful walks / trails to Wildtaler and Lehener Eck; the Glottertal is about 6 km away and can be "hiked").
There are wonderful bike rides starting right at our place and a mountain bike trail in the Gundelfinger forest.
The Europa-Park in Rust: approx. 20 minutes by car (also easy to reach by public transport)
Titisee / Badeparadies: approx. 35 autominutes (with suburban train and train approx. 60 min driving time)
Glottertal ("Black Forest Clinic", Panorama Park): 6 km
Waldkirch (Baumkronenweg, Black Forest Zoo, Organ Museum): 8 km
Freeway Freiburg-Nord: 8 km away
You do not need a car. Sights are easily accessible by public transportation. In addition, there are several "frelo" bicycle stations near by.

Lovely relaxing apartment a short tram ride away from Freiburg centre. Friendly helpful host. Apartment clean and well equipped, variety of shops within walking distance. Nice neighbourhood., really enjoyed our time here.

Sehr saubere Ferienwohnung mit einer super freundlichen Gastgeberin.
Die Lage ist für das Kennenlernen von Freiburg und Umgebung perfekt.
Die Größe der Wohnung ist für 2 Personen ganz ok.
Mit Kindern wäre für unsw zu eng.
Wir können die Wohnung guten Gewissens empfehlen. :-)

Zuerst mal muss erwähnt werden, dass die Vermieterin eine unglaublich nette und zuvorkommende Frau ist. Unsere zeitigere Anreise wurde akzeptiert, Wünsche aller Art förmlich erbeten. Hygiene, frische Handtücher, Bettwäsche - alles ohne Beanstandungen.
Vielen Dank dafür noch einmal.
Die Lage im Wohngebiet - nahe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants, zu Fuß nach Freiburg oder auch in den Wald, die Nähe zu Schwarzwald, Schweiz und Frankreich war für uns perfekt.
Wenn man etwas aussetzen möchte, ist es die Zweiteilung der Wohnung - die Küche ist also separat - und die etwas einfache Ausstattung. Der Wohnraum könnte ein paar mehr Ablagen - so etwa Nachtisch oder Kofferablagen vertragen. Aber wie gesagt - nur wenn man etwas finden möchte.

Late review - My wife and I stayed here for two weeks in December.It was a great experience.The place is very clean and has a great setup with a private bathroom and a separate kitchen.The kitchen has everything one needs for a longer stay, and the bed is very comfortable.Parking is available if needed, or one can use mass transit to easily get to Freiburg.Ulrike was a great host and made our stay very enjoyable.
