About this house rental
Classic vacation home in U-shape around a sunny courtyard. It contains a modern kitchen, large bathroom with direct exit to the sunhor, 3 WCs and with 6 bedrooms also room for the very large family. Beautiful open terrace facing the garden. On the property you are undisturbed, it is characterized by an older growth. If you want to use the whirlpool, please inform the service office 3 days before your arrival, this helps to save the environment. If you are on vacation in Rørvig, the best place to swim is Skansehage beach, which is very child-friendly and one of the best in Denmark. You should also experience the atmosphere in the harbor, where you can buy fresh and freshly smoked fish every day, meanwhile your children can catch crabs on the pier. There are also cozy cafes, ice cream kiosks and mini golf. A few kilometers away is Nykøbing for shopping. In this area, the fishermen among you will really enjoy themselves and for art lovers there are 50 galleries in Odsherred. You might also visit the fairytale Dragsholm Castle, which dates back to the 13th century. It houses a ghost and an excellent gourmet restaurant. It is beautifully situated in Nekselø bay. With your children you will enjoy visiting the Fire Museum in Odsherred and the Sommerland Sjælland amusement park. Seal safaris are launched from the harbor in Rørvig. There are 3 signposted hiking trails in the area: Sea, Sand and Wind - 16.2 km, Water of Birds - 8 km, Culture on the Coast - 7.5 km. Odsherred is a geological uniqueness and a UNESCO Geopark. On it you will find along the Tumulus Road, with the barrows and burial mounds, witnesses of the Stone and Bronze Ages, the remains of a forest village in Ulkerup abandoned 300 years ago, the Hempel Glass Museum and in the Odsherred Museum the copy of the sun chariot found in the bog Trundholm Mose. You will also see the erratic boulder Lommesten and the castle Næsholm Borg, which stands on a small island in the lake Nygård Sø between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. On Odsherred there is also a nature school that lets you catch seafood, organizes butterfly safaris and expeditions into the forest, and invites you to troll and fox excursions.

Vi havde en dejlig uge i sommerhuset. Det var dejligt med pladsen indendørs da vi havde nogle våde dage også.
