The holiday home is nestled between Lake Edersee and the forests of the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life on the edge of the village of Asel. Arriving in a place of tranquillity, on the first evening all you can hear is a slight rustling in your ears, which can't let go of the sounds of everyday life so quickly :-). Asel was awarded the title of "Hesse's most beautiful village" in 1978 and even today the village with its picturesque half-timbered houses, surrounded by fields, meadows and forests, invites you to take a stroll. You can reach Lake Edersee on foot in 1200 metres on a walk through the forest. Or you can take the car and drive 10 minutes to the lido in Waldeck or to the beach in Fürstental. Numerous hiking trails can be explored from the front door.
We are happy to accommodate dogs.
Fenced property. Ideal starting point for hiking. We have furnished the house with a lot of love for small things and in an original and cosy way. In the early morning or in the evening the bats fly by or the deer cross the property or the raccoons go on tour ;-). You can watch squirrels, birds, .... In Asel you can walk the bat trail.
