About this apartment rental
Vacation apartment in hilly position in the small village of Chiesanuova, 5 km from Levanto and from the sandy beaches. 8 km the charming seaside resort of Monterosso al Mare. The apartment is in a panoramic position, has private entrance and small outdoor area partially fenced on the ground floor. Good location for exploring the Cinque Terre area, by car, by sea (daily ferry service from Levanto) or via one of the many hiking trails through the Mediterranean scrub. The picturesque coastal village of Portovenere, the pearl of the Gulf of Poets with its ancient castle and the church of San Pietro built on the cliff, is certainly worth a visit. Access to the house via a 100m long unpaved pedestrian path.

Very clean, the owners were very helpful at check-in despite our almost non-existent Italian and their limited English, and it was a lovely spot. The motorized wheelbarrow to carry the luggage was great.
The directions to reach the property could be clearer (not helped by us needing to use Google translate on them). It took about half an hour of driving up and down plus walking around to find it - only to find that the lay-by we had pulled into at one point was our parking place!
Only one star for communication with the real estate professional because we never did communicate with a real estate professional.
