As a local looking for a daylong staycation I was very happy. Good deal. The front desk staff has been snotty the last few times I’ve been but the stay makes up for it. Checkout process was a little clunky. The bath products smell amazing as usual and the touches of local art and curated goodies is top notch.

Very unique boutique experience! Love the history and the hotel itself is stunning with so much character. On the 3rd floor it’s a fun common space with a stage, lounge chairs ( for two). A place you can relax while enjoying a cocktail at their bar based on an honorary system. The Elysian bar and restaurant connected to the hotel are equally beautiful with tasty food options. The room was well appointed and comfortable.

We booked the smallest room option, and it was indeed very compact. The room was so small that there was no space to move around the bed, with one side directly against the wall. Additionally, the ceiling height was quite low, likely because our room was on the ground floor. It seemed that rooms on the upper floors had higher ceilings.
During our stay, the weather was very cold. On the first day, the AC worked properly, and the room was warm. However, on the second night, the AC stopped heating, leaving us in a very cold room. We asked the maintenance team to check it, and while they initially said they would return to fix it, they never showed up. When we followed up with the reception, they informed us that no one from the maintenance team was available. They offered to move us to a similar room (not an upgrade) for our last night, but we declined since it was our final night. Instead, they provided us with an extra comforter. Unfortunately, it was still another cold night.
Overall, the facility has a very cool vibe, and the decoration is tasteful. However, this was not our best experience.
