About this house rental
Interesting holiday home with a beautiful panoramic view of the Holbæk fjord, which you can enjoy both indoors and outdoors. The interior is beautiful. There is sun all day on the many terraces as the house faces south. The communal area is only a few hundred metres away, where you can swim in the fjord. The house contains 4 bedrooms, enough space for a large family. In addition, a child can sleep in the cot in the house. There is a kitchen, a laundry room, two living rooms, one of which has a dining area with sea view, and a bathroom with whirlpool and shower. There is also fast internet via a fibre optic connection.
Close to the house is Bognæs forest, a small oasis that is reflected in the fjord.
The forest is a good hiking destination. It borders Vester Løb in the Isefjord, where the local sailing club sets up a jetty in the summer. You can catch good salmon trout on the small Tornehage headland, south of the jetty. The water here is shallow and a favourite fishing spot when the trout are migrating. You can also catch good hornfish here in May and June.
Holbæk is just a few kilometres away for shopping, coffee and a lovely harbour. Nearby you can visit Sommerland Sjælland, galleries that are also typical of Odsherred and Dragsholm Castle from the 13th century. The castle is beautifully situated in Nekselø Bay and also invites you to sample its gourmet restaurant, which uses local produce. There are golf courses nearby. The whole family will love a visit to Sommerland Sjælland theme park, Asnæ Zoo and BonBon-Land near Næstved. The marvellous city of Copenhagen is less than an hour away.
