About this house rental
Having just completed a 2 year renovation on the house we are proud to present a stylish, well appointed and luxurious home. Consisting of 5 double bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (4 wc's), a large sitting room and a huge kitchen/breakfast/dining room, a deck, conservatory and enclosed garden this house is perfect for special occasions and family holidays. With commanding sea views to Trevose Head lighthouse across Port Isaac Bay the house is just a 5 minute drive to the glorious tidal and dog friendly beach of Trebarwith Strand (or an even better 20 minute walk across the cliffs), a 5 minute walk to the best pub/restaurant in North Cornwall, The Mill House Inn, a 5 minute drive from the shops at Tintagel and a 5 minute walk to arguably the most beautiful stretch of the famous South West Coastal Path. Parking for 2-3 cars. Two large HDTV'S , surround sound sytem, Hi Fi, Wi- Fi throughout. Ample plugs to recharge all phones, I pads and lap tops! and Up to 2 dogs by arrangement.

Our stay was wonderful and Overdene was the perfect house for us. The location is amazing as you have access to a gorgeous beach which is perfect surfing for kids and the cliff tops for lovely walks. The downstairs open plan area is perfect for big families, as you can fill advantage of the big table, kitchen, bbq and garden all together. The bedrooms are a great size and the kids loved the bunk bed room. All in all, it was perfect.

Great house and perfect base for family holiday; location is perfect for Trebarwith, Tintagel and rest of North Cornwall; pub in short walking distance; coastal paths accessible short distance as well.

We were a family of 9 comprising 6 adults and 3 children. The property was just right for a family of this size. All bedrooms were a great size, very comfortable beds and bedding and the kids bedroom of a bunk bed and single bed with another pull out single went down well with the children. We spent most of our time in the kitchen diner which is huge and has everything you will ever need. There is a separate lounge which the kids loved as they could watch tv in peace from the adults - or was it the other way round?! The views from the front of the house are spectacular with a sea view in every front facing room. The kids loved the trampoline in the back garden and there is plenty seating front and back to take advantage of the sun as it’s on the house all day. The beach is a short 5 minute walk down the hill and Tintagel is a short 5 minute drive or a good walk particularly along the coastal path which is recommended for some stunning views. The owner Andy kept in touch with us during our stay and was available should we have needed him. His house was well presented and spotlessly clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property for your stay in this beautiful area of Cornwall.
