This cozy spot was a home away from home if you are riding in the alps. Walking distance to town and cycling distance to plenty of major climbs. Note that getting up to bed is a staircase/ladder so be prepared for that if you are tall. Only thing was that it was quite stuffy-you can’t open the windows much due to insects coming in and no ac. I wish Europe used screens! A fan downstairs would have been great. Other than that-parfait!!

My wife and I had a great stay here. Le Bourg-D'Oisans is an amazing town: beautiful landscapes and great culture/community. The house is in a great location, just outside of the town center but still walkable to anywhere. The inside is very well done, makes great use of the available space. Stovetop and fridge let us cook a few of our own meals. Only warning I would issue regards the stairs to the loft: they may be a bit challenging for anyone with mobility issues.

Comfortable, well equiped, good storage for bike, close to town centre, strong wifi. Owners nearby.

Steep stairs and angled bedroom ceiling not good for anyone with mobility or balance issues.
