The location was perfect, with gorgeous views of the lake from the large terrace. Short walk to the centre of Bellano. Across the road from the railway station. The interior is modern with an induction hob and contemporary bathroom.
The host was very helpful and met us at check in to talk through access to the building and give us some recommendations.
Bellano is the perfect place to stay, quieter than neighbouring towns, and only a short train or ferry ride from Varenna.

Beautiful view from our room on the ground floor l terrace. A charming and helpful host. Use of the facilities i.E washing machine etc - very helpful for a couple who have been travelling for over a month now.
No air conditioning or ceiling fan.
Pillows were a bit dated and uncomfortable.

Stunning location right on the edge of the lake. Use of large ground floor terrace and garden from which to enjoy the view.
Bellano is a lovely town with good restaurants, regular ferries and the Orrido di Bellano gorge. There were fewer tourists in Bellano than in either Varenna or Bellagio.
We liked everything.
