The location was beautiful, and the cabin was both spacious and comfortable. It offered a quiet, peaceful setting—perfect for a relaxing retreat before our work meeting. We especially appreciated the ceiling fans and extra blankets—just a few more blankets would have made it perfect.
The listing made it seem like basic cooking supplies would be available, but there was no cooking oil, which wasn’t a big issue. The bigger concern was that within the first 12 hours, we found ants in the kitchen and in our food. Additionally, when we went to cook, we discovered one of the skillets had cooked-on egg residue from a previous guest, so we had to clean it ourselves.

All the space
I know we are on vacation but it would’ve been nice to know that they didn’t have a smart Tv, just a dvd player and vhs. I would’ve brought my fire stick or some dvds to watch

I have been a cleaning lady for 8 years and this might be the first place to ever meet my expectations! it was so clean and comfortable! we didnt cook but did see tons of spices in the cabinets and other things to cook with! also loved the eco friendly powdered toiletries for washing! hand soap in every bathroom! fresh rolls of toilet papers-paper towels! also loved the bathroom towels this place was so beautiful and more than worth the value. perfect for families or couples we had our two small dogs (the place was NOT stinky for being pet friendly) 100000% recommend - staff was fast at answering any questions as well! thank you so much for your lovely staff!
the key code was pretty long and it had us frustrated a few times haha but it wouldnt stop us from coming back this place is great!

Check-in is at 4pm, which was super inconvenient especially when bringing food that has to be refrigerated. I asked couple times to allow a little early check in, the answer was no. You would think that with this kind of late check in the house would be extra clean, but that wasn't the case. We had to wash every dish before using, the grill was dirty, we had to spend a lot of time scrubbing and cleaning it. The grill was also small, considering the house is supposed to be suitable for 5 person. Bed sheets smelled like perfume, not sure if they wash them. The patio "furniture " was so dirty it felt like they haven't been used forever. The covers were ripped. In the bathroom, there was a note to wipe down the glass doors after showering, I was wondering if I should also deep clean the bathtub and spend the day on cleaning while on a 2-day getaway ;)
The challet overall is super old and not very well taken care of. The only think I enjoyed was the location and the view as being in the woods. For the price I'm sure there is plenty of better options in the area.
