Great property in an awesome location

Kitchen is wonderfully well equipped! Basic seasonings like salt pepper cinnamon etc all provided which was a nice surprise!
Living room is also lovely and spacious with plenty of seating for 5 people to relax and enjoy! we loved the outdoor table as well for a lunch in the sun!
Excellent location in terms of visiting Dale, you’re just a few mins walk from the main town centre and the water which is lovely for walks, swims, or just watching the water. You can also see the water from the living room which is lovely!
Great to have car parking too, and a beautiful garden to enjoy round the back.
Good base for Pembrokeshire exploring and a quiet, peaceful place to sleep at night! Although it is quite far out so was minimum an hour for us to get to any tourist destinations - but we enjoy a country drive!
Self check in was easy, and instructions to find the cottage also very clear.
There is a strong musty smell in the cottage, as mentioned by another review - the windows were open when we arrived, but it was still very noticeable, so I can only assume it’s the carpets perhaps that need either a very deep clean or replacing! They do look very tired and worn in especially in the bedrooms. We noticed the smell every time we walked into the cottage and it was a little off putting.
The bedrooms all feel very dated, and the bathrooms really could do with an update. They just look and feel very old - would be great if they matched the quality of the updated kitchen! We bought slippers we used for the bathroom as the Lino just looked a bit old and worn.
Some of the lights in the bedroom and bathroom were very flickery or didn’t work.

Great location and plenty of parking
I wouldn't recommend this property for a winter stay, night storage heaters don't give enough warmth and cosiness to the property. Night storage heaters weren't put on the night before our arrival so property was cold (for which the host has apologised for) but it didn't make for a great welcome.
