About this cottage rental
Large character cottage of 160 m surface, relaxing, with private garden, fenced and furnished with games for different ages all in a green setting. Located in the province of Namur in Belgium., close to means of transport and Charleroi airport. Close to various shopping centers, the Eau d'Heure dams with all water sports and games for children, museums, abbeys, Dinant with museums, citadel, fly boats. Impossible to describe the range of activities and discoveries, not to mention the delicious local products. You have discount cards at the gîte for your various excursions. The cottage has the label of Wallonia and that of baby tenderness.
The quiet village surrounded by woods is at the center of the Napoleonic markets. At a painter's house.
Examination / visit of places on arrival which must be left after use as a "good father". A deposit of 300 € (in cash) to cover any damage you may have caused during your stay is required before occupying the premises. This deposit, minus the costs incurred (see above), will be returned to you when you leave the premises after a joint visit by them to assess the inventory.
The strict maximum occupancy of the cottage is set at 7 people (adults or children) ... No derogation will be accepted for reasons of local legislation.

We really enjoyed our stay in this wonderful house, full of warm history and everything you need for a family holiday. We stayed here for several days, each day we went to visit different cities (Brussels, Bruges, Leuven, Ostend) and the beautiful resort lake with a dam. It was very pleasant to return to this house in the evening. We hope to visit it and the kind family of the owners again one day.

The house is very spacious and nice, everything you need is there. Betty is very nice and helpful with tips. The area is very quit with lots of wood in the area for a nice walk with our dogs. The garden is enclosed which is good. We can definitely recommend staying at this house.

Vrijstaand huis. De vriendelijke eigenaars wonen ervoor aan de weg. Een ruim huis, donker en koel (prettig als het buiten erg warm is), maar iets te vol gestouwd met een grote hoeveelheid oude en antieke meubelen, schilderijen en talloze snuisterijen. Dat maakt het minder geschikt voor kinderen, voor wie in de grote tuin van de eigenaar wel een klein rond zwembad staat. Achter het huis zelf is een fijne eigen tuin met veel schaduwplekken. Ernaast een grote schuur met divers speeltuig. De sanitaire voorzieningen zijn voldoende, maar wel toe aan een opknapbeurt. De douchedeur op de eerste etage veroorzaakt telkens een waterballet en die badkamer hebben we dus maar niet verder gebruikt. Een aantal pannen in de overigens prima keuken is dringend aan vervanging toe – vooral die om in te bakken. In de directe omgeving is niet veel te beleven. Men moet minstens een half uur rijden om een zwembad of een interessante stad te vinden. Meer een plek om uit te rusten en veel te lezen dus.
