About this apartment rental
IL NIDO is a delightful apartment (size 50 sq meters) completely and well restored according Tuscan style, located in the historical charming medieval hamlet of Gavorrano at High Maremma in Tuscany (South-west). Gavorrano is placed on the top of a hill (altitude of 273 m), few kilometres far from the Follonica gulf seaside and the beautiful beaches of Punta Ala and Castiglione della Pescaia.
The place is very quiet and panoramic with a great view over the countryside to the sea where the sun set in a gorgeous sight.
The landscape is the typical Tuscan one with vine-yards, olive grove, rows of cypresses and Mediterranean flora with its beautiful colors and scents.
The apartment, recently fully restored, is really picturesque with attractive wooden- beam ceiling and antique terracotta floor maintaining the original features and the charm of the period when it was built. It is furnished in antiques. It is placed at the ground floor of a characteristic two-storied building in a typical little street, with an independent entrance. It is composed by a small kitchen, a living-room with an ancient delightful fireplace and a bed divan, one bedroom with a double bed and a small bathroom with shower box. Into the house you will find information for your sightseeing.

Anyway in the apartment you will find all details you need to have an enjoyable stay. A friend of us who lives nearby is also available for any kind of problem.I will always be available by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp and will do my best to reply to you as quickly as possible.
We ask our guest to leave our apartment cleaned and tidy at departure.

Il nostro soggiorno si è rivelato una piacevole sorpresa: la casa è comoda, accogliente, attrezzata e pulita, arredata con gusto, perfetta per una famiglia di 3 persone. Si trova in un pittoresco borgo medievale fatto di piccole stradine e vicoletti dove le auto non possono circolare....ideale per chi vuole trascorrere vacanze tranquille. I servizi e i negozi si raggiungono in pochi minuti.
Molto belle e varie le spiagge di sabbia fine dove poter fare un bel bagno! I proprietari non sono presenti sul posto, ma sono sempre disponibili e si sono dimostrati attenti alle nostre richieste. Siamo stati veramente bene e intendiamo tornare.
Da raccomandare vivamente!

Soggiorno piacevole e rilassante. L’appartamento è pulito e dotato di ogni comfort, molto fresco nonostante il caldo di questa torrida estate, perfettamente adatto alle vacanze di una famiglia di 4 persone.
Complimenti ai proprietari per l'arredamento curato nei minimi particolari!
I letti sono comodi ed abbiamo dormito divinamente nella tranquillità più totale. Il paesino di Gavorrano dista una quindicina di minuti dal mare.
È molto caratteristico con i suoi stretti vicoli medievali…dall’alto delle sue mura la vista del tramonto sul golfo di Follonica e sull’isola d’Elba è davvero uno spettacolo che ti apre il cuore!
Nelle vicinanze (circa 200mt) si possono trovare bar, tabacchi, banca, farmacia, ristoranti, pasticceria e supermercato. Ottimo punto strategico per visitare il litorale toscano che va da Castiglione della Pescaia a Follonica.
Spiagge libere e attrezzate anche con pineta soddisfano ogni tipo di necessità.
Vacanza assolutamente rilassante e piacevole. Per persone come noi che non amano la confusione è stata ideale.
Lo consigliamo vivamente!

L’appartamento è funzionale e ben attrezzato (non c’è bisogno di portarsi stoviglie o pentole), arredato con gusto e sito nell’arroccato centro storico del medievale borgo di Gavorrano.
Sconsigliato a chi ha problemi di deambulazione perché l’auto va lasciata nei parcheggi liberi che si trovano nei dintorni: distano dai 50 ai 250m ed è tutta salita.
Consiglio a chi soggiornerà, di viaggiare leggeri.
Lo svantaggio del parcheggio è pienamente ricompensato dalla tranquillità del borgo: a parte qualche scaramuccia felina notturna ( qui i gatti sono sempre a spasso per le strette viuzze ) si gode di un silenzio ormai dimenticato.
Tutte le sere abbiamo goduto di una bella arietta fresca che si incanalava per le vie e ci ha permesso di dormire serenamente.
La signora Rossella ama il suo “Nido”, quindi mi raccomando trattatelo bene e seguite le chiare e precise istruzioni che vi verranno da lei fornite, non appena concluderete l’acquisto di un soggiorno in questa abitazione.
Note dolenti: il bagno è privo di finestra ( c’è una ventola di aspirazione) e non c’è il bidet.
Se siete più alti di 1,80m dovete prestare attenzione ad attraversare la porta della camera da letto e la soglia della doccia.
La zona è favorevole per gli spostamenti: le strade sono agevoli e i meno di mezz’ora si raggiungono i parcheggi delle spiagge più belle della Maremma.
Spero che possiate godere anche voi della tranquillità di questo borgo storico.
