About this house rental
Villa surrounded by greenery for absolute tranquility. You will have the whole structure at your disposal (including swimming pool and tennis court). Everything can be used even at night thanks to the lighting systems. The most beautiful and famous places of Campania are easily reachable: Pompeii, with its famous excavations at 45 minutes by car; The Amalfi Coast, 30 minutes away; The caves of Pertosa, 30 minutes away; Paestum, with its Greek temples and the famous beaches, 30 minutes away; Salerno, 30 minutes away, from which you can embark for Capri, thus enjoying the splendid Amalfi coast seen from the sea; Naples 70 minutes away; Caserta, with its famous palace, 80 minutes away. All locations are easily accessible thanks to the villa's proximity to the Contursi Terme motorway junction (approximately 2 km).
We will be happy to offer our guests an evening of pizzas prepared directly in the villa, under your eyes and cooked in a wood oven.

Property: Fantastic pool (large, deep with diving board) which was cleaned daily. Plenty of space in the kitchen and bedrooms with air conditioning throughout.Location: Beautiful views of Contursi Terme, interesting Italian hillside roads to access the villa (these got easier with experience!).Surrounding Area: Good access to the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii and Naples.Host: Salvatore is very accommodating and an impressive pizzaiolo (you must accept his offer to cook pizza in the wood-fired oven!)Overall we had a fantastic week, and our teenage children said it's the best summer holiday they've had! Thanks Salvatore!

The property is isolated at the end of a very small lane but is immaculate and very well looked after. Salvatore the owner was an excellent host and he accommodated us arriving a couple of hours early. He cooked us wonderful pizzas and made our stay very pleasant. The villa had everything you could need for a relaxing stay. The pool was clean and the tennis court well maintained. The location was very private and about ten minutes from the nearest village but the Wi-Fi was 10/10 and the smart tv worked well. One word of advice, do not use google maps in this part of Italy as it really doesn’t work very well and you’ll get lost. Waze and Apple were more accurate. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen diner enormous In short a lovely stay in a stunning location.

Our family of 5 stayed here on the last week of June 2019. We found this house to be a great holiday rental in the countryside about 2 mile from the lovely town of Contursi Terme with its small shops and supermarkets for your provisions.We loved the large swimming pool in which we enjoyed many hours, especially our 8 year old. It was cleaned daily by the owner Salvatore and it became a refreshing escape from the heat of the sunny days. The property grounds were gated and we felt very secure staying here. Great facilities included a full size floodlit tennis court with many tennis rackets and balls to use. We loved having a family knock about in the cooler evenings finished of with a welcome dip in the pool. The outdoor bbq was also a good size and was used a lot for our evening meals. Inside the house the kitchen was large and well equipped with everything you could need including a lot basic condiments, olive oil, vinegars etc.The bedrooms were on the upper floor and were all good size with lots of clean bedding and also a numerous amount of clean towels for the bathrooms. A good base to visit the beaches near Salerno, the ruins at Pompeii and further to the beautiful scenery on the Amalfi coast. Although driving the roads around that coast was an experience I wouldn't want to repeat. We also enjoyed the short strolls down the lanes near the house taking in the local nature and wonderful views across to the picturesque mountain ranges. Although we had an atrocious level of spoken Italian and Salvatore spoke little English, we got our messages across ok and managed to learn some new Italian phrases and words.I have to say overall we enjoyed our experience at Salvatore's house and would love to come back again very soon.
