Castelli Cottage is a detached 150 years old traditional stone house , completely restored and beautifully renovated.
It is a very cozy and hospitable guesthouse , suitable for those who prefer peaceful family or friendly vacations.
The house Is situated in a fully green and unspoiled environment , at the north hillsides of mount Pantokratoras , In a very small village called Fourni , 10 minutes distance from the nearest town of Acharavi.
The site breathes out an atmospheric quiet and tranquility. This becomes more intense due to the panoramic view from the south to the north , over the hills with olive groves and cypress trees till the north beach of Roda , Acharavi and Othonoi Island.
The sunset from the property Is extraordinary.
The lovely furnished house Is about 186 sqm , spread over 2 levels and has everything you need for comfortable holidays. It can offer space for up to 10 adults. The ground floor has a comfortably furnished living room , a fully equipped kitchen, a large eating corner and a w.c. Also, at the ground floor, but with a private entrance -not through the main door- there is a kind of a studio : one spacious bedroom with 2 single beds, a bathroom with a shower and a small kitchen with a dining place for two people.
On the first floor there are 3 double-bed bedrooms , 1 with 2 single beds, a large hall with a sofa-bed and 2 more bathrooms.
Around the house there are many courtyards for someone to relax, eat, drink, read, play games or just watch the beautiful sunset.
You can, also, enjoy the small pool, at the extension of the upper courtyard, the site of which culminates charm, tranquility and beauty of the landscape.
The pool is shared with the next small house, Castelli Olive Press, my grandparent's auxiliary house , now available for renting too . Salt electrolysis, no chemical additives : clear , odorless, safe water.

We had an amazing stay at Castelli Cottage. It's even more beautiful than the photos. It's in a good location to explore the island. A special thanks to Stephen and Maggie who keep the cottage pristine.

As charming and comfortable as the photos suggest. Separate entrances for all but two rooms also gave each of our family subgroups extra privacy, while the large and comfortable common areas provided plenty of space to gather, play fishbowl, or read and relax together. PERFECT. And Stephen, Maggie, and John were so attentive and welcoming!

We had a wonderful holiday at Castelli Cottage. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. There were plenty of seating areas outside and inside for the whole family to hang out together, while the spacing of the bedrooms and the many bathrooms ensured that there was also privacy when wanted. The house is surrounded by olive trees and the view and the sunsets are amazing. The owner, Matina, was very accommodating of our whole family as well as being flexible with check-in and check-out times which was so appreciated with a toddler. We loved staying here and had a blast!
