My parents (60s), my husband and I (late 30s early 40s), 14 month old and six-year-old stayed here in late March 2025. I grew up in New Orleans and I knew I wanted to be somewhere within walking distance of city Park for the kids. This house has a beautiful waterfront view, it is a three minute walk to the edge of the park in a 10 minute walk to playgrounds, Café Du Monde,, storybook land, and the children’s museum. The museum is amazing, but I think my son had the most fun just on the playground down the street from the house. It was really relaxing to just sit on the porch and have a drink and watch the water and the people going by. The location is also very convenient for groceries, Pharmacy, anything you might need. The house itself is very comfortable and charming, with an updated kitchen. Having Netflix was also great for the kids. The three bedrooms were good for our party. We picked up all our essentials at Whole Foods 5 min away and were set for the 4-5 days we were there. The host was very easy to communicate with and let us do a later checkout than was listed. The only small thing I can even think to say otherwise is I wish there had been a pack and play to use for the 14 month old. We brought our guava lotus instead. I would definitely stay here again!! Fantastic home base to see the city from. Thank you!! :)

I never could figure out how to contact the property manager but the owner was fantastic.

The home was charming and comfortable and just right for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, the showers hot, and the A/C comfortably cool. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch overlooking the bayou. The area was quiet and easily accessible. Walked to Cafe Du Monde in City Park for beignets for breakfast one day. Walked to Ralph’s on the Park for a celebratory graduation dinner. I recommend this property.
