About this house rental
This former railway caretaker's cottage is nestled between the Karawanken mountains and the Drau reservoir in the municipality of St. Jakob im Rosental. On the ground floor of the building there is a bedroom, a bathroom, an inviting living area with a cosy stove and a kitchen. On the first floor there are two further bedrooms, a bathroom and a lounge area. This holiday home can accommodate up to 7 people in total. Your dogs can really let off steam on the fully fenced garden plot - up to 2 pets are allowed at no extra charge. Cosy garden furniture invites you to linger. The sofa bed in the living room is 1.50 metres wide.
The location of the holiday cottage in the middle of the Carinthian lake district is ideal for all active holidaymakers and those seeking relaxation. Plan a trip to Lake Faak, Lake Ossiach or Lake Wörth together! An extensive network of cycling and hiking trails is also almost on your doorstep.

The house is well kept and spacious. Due to the all enclosed garden, this was an ideal spots for our dogs. I would have welcome more support by the owners as there were no tips and tricks regarding the house at all (operation time of the heating, operating cycle of the heatin, …).

Great location, lovely house. Idea for nature lovers and if you travel with dogs. We spent a More information regarding heating operation times or improvement of the water flow in the kitchen might be helpful.

Nachteil im 1 Stock sind Zimmer nicht getrennt begehbar. Für grosse Personen auf Grund der Mansarde im Badezimmer bzw 1St. schwierig. Für Biker die Zufahrt durch Feldweg u. Schotter schwierig bei Regen nicht befahrbar. Ansonsten aber soweit sehr schön und zu empfehlen

Bad im Obergeschoß gut fotografiert, ist jedoch von der Stehhöhe kleiner als erwartet. Wasserversogung im OG mit regelmäßigen oder spontanen Unterbrechungen. Für 7 Personen weniger geeignet, da im OG zum Toilettengang ein Schlafzimmer durchquert werden muß.
Im Erdgeschoß alles prima. Bei der Küchenausstattung fehlen einige wesentliche Dinge. Angemerkt sei hier nur keine Eierbecher, geringe Anzahl von Töpfen, Bierheber.
Außenbereich schön mit Grill und Feuerkorb sowie Holz.
Bei der angegebenen Personenanzahl sind zwei Liegen dürftig.
Alles in Allem eine ausgesprochenen ruhige Lage mit wundervoller Aussicht. Bei entspechendem Verhalten ist die Beobachtung von Rehwild möglich.
Gesamtnote von uns dennoch sehr Befriedigend.
