About this house rental
This pretty south-facing country house is full of light, charm and comfort. There are 4 double bedrooms and a 5th with 2 single beds (ideal for children). There are 3 bathrooms including one with a walk in shower.
Situated fifteen minutes walk from the sea at Lulworth cove on the unspoiled Purbeck coast the Lynches is situated on a hillside with wide south facing views to the sea and surrounded by fields. Built of Purbeck stone around the beginning of the last century it is set in two acres of secluded terraced lawns and gardens including a large area ideal for children's games.
The very fully equipped kitchen opens onto a bright glass conservatory. There is an Aga cooker as well as an extra oven and hob. There is a pretty spacious dining room with a large round 18th. century dining table and sideboard. The large living room has an open fire, a piano and french doors to the terrace.
There is a huge marble table with seating for summer eating on the south facing terrace and there is a sun umbrella and barbecue.
The Lulworth area is notable for its wonderful walks and and spectacular 'Jurassic' coastline including Durdle Door and Kimmeridge bay where there is the recently opened Etches fossil museum.
Good local places for swimming include Lulworth cove, Durdle Door beaches and Kimmeridge. Within easy reach are Corfe Castle with its spectacular ruins, Weymouth Bay and Abottsbury.

Lovely old property with peace and charm. Scenic views. Lovely property and well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. With an easy 15 minute walk down to Lulworth Cove you have access to restaurants, the beach and of course the beautiful location. The Cove can get very busy this time of year so the ability to return to the calm of the property, and enjoy the beautiful views was specials. The pathway to the top of the hill behind the property provides panoramic views along the coast to Swanage and Chesil Beach. A special place and a shout out to Jules(property manager) when reaching out to check all was ok and to provide additional information.
