About this villa rental
This beautiful traditional French mas sleeps 8 comfortably and offers you an ideal holiday haven set in the peaceful countryside surrounding St Remy de Provence. Four tastefully decorated bedrooms, each with ensuite bathrooms are situated in the main house. A guardian lives on the premises, in an outbuilding located to the back of the property, Monday through Friday to assist with any special requests or just a good source of information on the region. The house is spacious and boasts many traditional provencal features such as the large fireplace in the salon and the exposed beams all around the house. Decorated throughout with taste in a classic style, the house is equipped with all necessary items for a relaxing vacation.
The gardens around the property have been filled with native plants such as lavender, olive trees, rosemary and vines. Relax in the large pool, play a game of boules, petanque or stretch out and catch a few rays on the loungers whilst listening to the cigales in August or dine al fresco on the terrace under the pergola whilst admiring the view of the Alpilles and the town below.

We came to Provence to celebrate my husband’s birthday. This home was ideal for a family gathering. It is architecturally beautiful and the pool area is stunning. It was clean and well supplied and Jocelyn was delightful and very helpful.We will return to this wonderful place!

A phenomenal week in a gorgeous spot. Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids age 7 and 11) spent the past week in this beautiful old farmhouse. It’s about a 20 minute walk from the village of St. Remy, and easily situated 30-50 minutes from other towns in the area. The house is comfortable and the grounds are gorgeous. Jocelyn, the property manager was extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations for restaurants/ things to do in the area. (He connected us to Julie, a private chef in the area, for a dinner at the house, which was one of the highlights of the trip.) The pool is unheated but refreshing in the summer heat. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

Bon emplacement, belle maison spacieuse avec jolie vue. Dommage que, pour le prix, des prestations ne soient pas plus raffinées.
- linge de maison dépareillé et vieillot
- draps de bains de toutes les couleurs, il y en avait même un troué !
- des oreillers de mauvaise qualité
- transats bas de gamme et tachés
‐ matelas du canapé de piscine complètement déchiré et sale
- pas de porte pour les WC de la piscine
- le coin bar de la piscine devrait être mieux aménagé avec au moins un petit frigo, la piscine étant éloignée de la cuisine principale
‐ manque de pression dans certaines salles de bains
- éclairage insuffisant dans les salles de bains et le dressing
‐ pas de livret d'accueil
- climatisation dans une seule chambre, ce qui n'est pas précisé dans l'annonce
Bref on sent que le propriétaire rechigne à faire certaines petites dépenses et c'est plutôt frustrant.
Saint Rémy est vraiment agréable et le mas est très beau!
