Heracles Traditional Cretan House 1 is located in Spili, a picturesque village located at an altitude of 430 meters, 28 kilometers south – east of Rethymno, in the centre of Crete. Due to the location of the village you have the chance to explore easily the north as well as the south part of the island.
This historic house was built almost 250 years ago and has been carefully renovated with love and attention so none of its unique traditional elements was harmed. Its stone walls are 60 cm thick, which makes the house cool during summer and warm during winter. The house can accommodate up to 4 people. In the living area you will find a sofa-bed which can accommodate two people. In the bedroom the old wine production space has been transformed into an amazing double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances you may need such us oven, cooking rings, fridge, kettle, dish washer and washing machine. Next to the kitchen there is one more single bed and a traditional bread oven. Outdoors you can enjoy relaxing in the spacious veranda.
