About this house rental

The 17th century Yew Tree Barn is set in a courtyard with the owners farmhouse on a working dairy farm where we also make our delicious Kelsmor ice cream. Yew Tree Barn has its own patio with table and chairs, and a shared garden with a small lake.
The barn was converted to give a light modern space but still retains the character and beams. The slate floored entrance hall leads to three oak floored bedrooms and the main bathroom on the ground floor. The master bedroom has a 5ft king size bed and an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has a 5ft king size bed, and a door to the patio. The third bedroom has a 4ft6inch double bed and a 3ft single bed and also has a door to the patio. The family bathroom has a bath and a separate shower cubicle.
From the hall stairs lead to the first floor and the large vaulted open plan kitchen, dining and living space, ideal for socialising. Off the kitchen is a utility room containing the washing machine & tumble drier.
Large windows allow light to pour into the barn making it a very airy space. Doors from the living area lead to a small balcony where you can sit with a coffee or a glass of wine watching the cows in the paddock, or the rabbits playing, and the sun setting over Garway Hill.
The underfloor heating throughout the barn is powered by a ground source heat pump which also heats the water.

Lovely rural location. We visited places in Wales and the West Midlands. Hosts were very welcoming and all the family enjoyed the Milking parlour and ice cream making.

This is a stunning cottage in a great location with excellent walks on your doorstep and a 5 min walk to the pub. The upside down barn has been well converted keeping original features blended with a modern feel. Very comfortable and well equipped. Owners dog Baz is also very friendly and got on well with our two. Also great (but dangerous) having excellent Ice cream on your doorstep. We stayed post lockdown and measures in place ensured we had a great stay. Highly recommended.
