Five minutes from boating lake and sports centre at Jugon Les Lacs and only 20 minutes from stunning Dinan, one of the most visited places in Brittany, being steeped in history (castle with ramparts, cobbled streets, picturesque port with boat trips along to St Malo, 12th century timbered houses, bars and restaurants), full of charm and character. Sleeps 6. Above ground swimming pool for your private use. Set within large, private, peaceful mature gardens and orchard. BBQ area and ample car parking. Character family home with beamed ceilings on ground floor, large Breton fireplaces & wood burning stove. Fabulous beaches, golf, sailing and fishing nearby. Two minutes from lake for walks & 5 mins from local bakery for tasty baguettes, croissants & scrumptious cakes!. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! * Owner - Lynda was wonderfully helpful, discreet, considerate.* Garden - this was our favourite aspect of the house. Well kept, diverse plants, trees, delicious plums, grassy area, various seating, and a small round pool that my daughters enjoyed circling.* Kitchen - well equipped and not over equipped, clean, attractive, with a convenient layout. * Check-in and out - all easy since Lynda was next door and was most accommodating.* Rooms - good. I particularly liked the en suite attic room because it was spacious and peaceful. No door though, so you can hear everything from downstairs. Living room comfortable, attractive, and well set out. Dining table easily big enough for six of us.* Location - we appreciated the peaceful location. There's a small lake nearby in which you can wakeboard and play on the inflatables, both good fun. At Jugon-les-Lacs, nearby, you can sail, paddleboard, and so forth. For swimming, we drove to the coast because you can't swim in the lakes.* Local people - really friendly. A lovely community.

We enjoyed our stay very much in this cosy house with the beautiful garden. Due to the weather we could spend much time in the privat garden and enjoyed the pool. Lynda is a very friendly and helpful host. She was very discreet, but when we had a question, she answered very quickly.

Thank you Linda for the use of your lovely home the end of August. Both families really enjoyed staying at the house and in the area. The pool and grounds are very family friendly. Jugon-les-Lacs is a quaint but beautiful village with plenty to do with a huge lake and lots of activities, there is a smaller lake and children’s play area in Dolo a few minutes from the house. There are a few very very good restaurants in the town but bigger towns are not far away Dinan is about 20mins from Jugon-les-Lacs and definitely worth a visit. We will be returning highly recommend this beautiful town and property.
