About this apartment rental
La Marmotte is lovely fully independent apartment which forms a wing of a beautiful stone built traditional provencal house in three hectares of ground with chestnut trees. The house is approximately four kilometres from the medieval village of La Garde Freinet. The apartment is on the ground floor with a large stone terrace covered partly by a pergola with access to the grounds and the swimming pool. The swimming pool is private to the house and used by residents of the main house (rarely there) and the apartment. The house is situated close to vineyards and woodland with lovely walks with breathtaking views. The village of La Garde Freinet is a 30 minute walk from the property. The village hosts a market twice a week and has a full range of shops, including a small supermarket with cash point, bars and restaurants. This is an extremely comfortable apartment with everything you could need. Although adjoining our house, the apartment is totally separate and undisturbed. There is a private terrace with sunbeds and a table and chairs, all with cushions. The apartment is light and airy with good cupboard space. Living area with a sofa bed; Kitchen; Double bedroom; Bathroom. The private terrace is perfect for alfresco meals or just passing a quiet moment with a glass of wine and a good book. It is shaded by a metal frame pergola covered with wisteria. There is private parking adjacent to the apartment. There is flat screen TV

This property is very small, you can not take much luggage. The wardrobe does not close properly. There is a lack of kitchen cupboard space, no room at all to put any food that you bought from supermarket.

Wir hatten eine sehr ruhige, gute Zeit an diesem etwas abgelegenen Ort. Das Haus bietet alles was man braucht. Die Beschreibung für die Nutzung war deutlich. Bei der Ankunft erwarteten uns Erfrischungen im Kühlschrank das fanden wir toll. Allerdings war es in der Nacht schon sehr heiß im Haus. Der Pool war das Highlight und eine gute Möglichkeit um uns zu erfrischen.

Superbe propriété tres agréable, parfait pour un couple. Idéalement situé pour visiter la région. Le logement dispose de tout le nécessaire pour passer de tres bonne vacances. La piscine, le jardin tout est bien entretenu et jolie.
