About this house rental
Twin Cave House is a recently renovated authentic cave house, partly carved in the volcanic rock face. It is located in Oia, on the cliff peak close to the Venetian castle, where everybody gathers to watch Oia’s famous sunset. Due to its unique location, Twin Cave House offers breathtaking views of the caldera and the volcanoes and is only a 2 minutes walk away from Oia’s main street, where all the restaurants and shops are situated.
The cave house consists of two adjacent rooms, each one with its own entrance, but also with an interconnecting door. The first room features a double bed, a basic kitchenette and an en-suite bathroom. The second room is more spacious and offers a fully equipped kitchen, a dining/living area and an en-suite bathroom . The room also features an open loft with a double bed. Furthermore, the couch can be prepared as a single bed in order to sleep a fifth guest. Both rooms' doors lead onto the house's idyllic terrace that overlooks the endless blue of the dazzling caldera. Twin Cave House can comfortably host two couples, while offering them privacy, but is also ideal for families, or groups of friends.
The house offers daily housekeeping service.
The village of Oia is a traditional settlement and it is entirely pedestrian. The village offers a great variety of restaurants, shops, mini markets etc. Within the village, everything is in walking distance. You can explore the rest of the island either by car, bus, taxis or organised tours. There are public parking areas at the entrance of the village, but take into consideration that during high season parking can be challenging.
Upon a reservation’s confirmation the host is always available for any inquiries or pre-arrival arrangements regarding transportation, excursions, special occasions, etc.
Staying in one of Nicoletta’s houses, guarantees personalized and discreet service, which allows guests to unwind and have a carefree stay. Nicoletta herself or a member of her team is always available during your stay in order to assist you and ensure you are having an enjoyable holiday.

Super cute place, ideal location right in the center of town on the water. Nicoletta and her daughter were great. They arranged our transfers, handled our luggage to/from, arranged laundry services etc. can’t recommend enough. Wonderful stay!

The house was great. Had a good view. Lots of amenities. Close to everything you want to see in Oia. The best was our host Nicoletta. She helped us with everything from transfers with help with our luggage through all those stairs in Oia, to making reservations for restaurants to sharing the history of Oia. Made for the best experience. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

Great unit and location. Nicoletta was excellent and quick to respond to questions. She helped arrange for transportation from the airport and to the ferry port which made everything easy and seamless. Great view from our unit and accomodatioms were very comfortable for my family of 4. Prime location in Oia within walking distance to restaurants, shops and sights. Would highly recommend

Great location though VERY busy as it is right near a Instagram photo spot so walkway is very congested at all times. You get a fair amount of noise with people outside and luggage coming down the cobblestone steps. The communication with Nicoletta is excellent, and she is top-notch with providing transport and answering questions. Her team of drivers, porters are courteous, timely, and professional.Staying in a cave dwelling was a fun experience. The unit is quite small and the loft bedroom can be tricky to get up and down. Be aware - there are no outlets in the second bathroom. Not a huge deal, but something to know. We were a bit disappointed in the overall cleanliness of the unit and felt like things could have been better stocked. Nothing we couldn’t work with, but for the price, we were underwhelmed. Again, the location is great though and Nicoletta is an excellent hostess.
