Nestled in the heart of the Belleville Valley, the enchanting village of St Marcel offers an authentic Alpine setting just moments from the vibrant resort of Saint-Martin-de-Belleville. From the house, it’s an easy 10-minute walk (800m), a short drive, or a convenient free ski bus ride to the main lift, connecting you directly to the vast 3 Vallées — the world’s largest linked ski area with over 600km of pistes.
From gentle beginner slopes to challenging terrain for advanced skiers, the Three Valleys encompasses Les Menuires and Val Thorens, with seamless access to Méribel, Courchevel and beyond via the modern Saint Martin 2 lift. Whether you’re learning to ski, carving long blue runs, or exploring high-altitude powder, the variety is exceptional.
In favourable snow conditions, experienced skiers can even return close to the house via well-known off-piste routes. (Guides are strongly recommended for any off-piste skiing.)

The historic Chapelle Notre Dame and 28km of cross-country ski trails (ski de fond) are also nearby, offering beautiful routes linking the surrounding hamlets of Saint Marcel, Le Châtelard, Le Paranger and Le Bettaix.
The House
Originally built in 1870, this traditional Savoyard home sits in the historic heart of the village and has been thoughtfully and fully renovated using high-quality local materials. Arranged over three floors, La Maison Ruisseau blends authentic Alpine character with contemporary comfort.
The bespoke, handcrafted kitchen is a true highlight — perfect for keen cooks and relaxed evenings after a day on the slopes. Carefully designed interiors create a warm, inviting atmosphere, complemented by a log burner for cosy winter nights.
Please note: due to the staircase layout and log burner, the property is not suitable for very young children.

We stayed with two families and really enjoyed it. Nicely renovated old house and big enough for 10 people. The only thing is that you have to take a shower in shifts to prefent showering with cold water. To acces the Saint Martin de Belville skilift took a walk of approximately 15 minutes. There are busses to Saint Martin de B. or Les Menuires, but you can't rely on them.

Een gezellig en verzorg huis dat zeer smaakvol is ingericht. Gastvrije ontvangst. En met 5 ruime slaapkamers en fijne badkamers een royaal huis. Wij hebben genoten met elkaar van de gezellige eetkeuken. En je bent zo bij de lift waar je je kunt uitleven in dit geweldige skigebied! Angela Is een super fijne vriendelijke host. Een echte aanrader in het 3 vallees gebied!

We really enjoyed our stay , 4 adults and 5 kids
Good size kitchen, well equipped.
All bedrooms nicely spaced.
Easy connection toward the trios vallees ski area, ski-in via the Saint Martin slope definitely possible if snow conditions allow.
