About this house rental
Sleeping between art! A wonderful place to stay and overnight for 2 people in the former primary school of Ellewoutsdijk. The surprising space in one of the classrooms inspires and gives the opportunity to relax pleasantly and is equipped with all modern conveniences. In addition to the exhibition space where you also sleep, you also have a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a private bathroom at your disposal. Through the programming of the visual arts, there are changing exhibitions to experience and not a stay is the same. Artist Rem van den Bosch lives with his family in the other part of the building. We are always ready to assist you with advice about everything that the beautiful province of Zeeland has to offer.
In addition to wall art, there is an extensive library with art books that you can spend many hours with. We have consciously chosen not to place television in the room so that the emphasis remains on the experience. However, upon arrival we make an inventory of the needs of our guests and, if desired, a modern flat screen television will be installed.
The Zak van Zuid-Beveland is known for its beautiful nature and the tranquility that can be found here. From Ellewoutsdijk you can reach Middelburg, Vlissingen or Goes in 25 minutes. Also within the hour in Antwerp or Ghent. The beach of Baarland is 20 minutes by bike.

Heel fijn om weer de zak van Zuid Beveland te beleven, en dan met name de verstilling daar! Ik kwam hier al als klein kind op vakantie, en nu na 60 jaar opnieuw. Erg van genoten. Vooral ook door het persoonlijke contact met Rem, eigenaar en door mij bewonderde fotograaf. Het landschap, de natuur, de herkenning van ooit. Super. Speciale vermelding ook de strandtent de Landing, aan zee. Wat een plek, dat ga ik niet vergeten.

Wunderschöne Location der etwas anderen Art,mit Kunst an den Wänden und in den Regalen. Die Unterkunft war sauber mit modernem Bad,die Küchenzeile gut ausgestattet. Wer zur Ruhe kommen will, ist hier genau richtig, wunderschöne Umgebung mit tollen Fahrradwegen. Der Gastgeber war sehr nett und aufgeschlossen .

Es war ein toller Kurzurlaub in einem geräumigen und ausgesprochen stylisch eingerichteten Appartement.
Gern hat man sich die wunderschönen Fotos und Bildbände des Gastgebers angeschaut.
Ein Aufenthalt in dieser interessanten Unterkunft mit super netten Gastgebern ist unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Het was een enorm prettige ruimte om in te verblijven qua inrichting en grootte. Echt van alle gemakken voorzien: goed uitgerust keukenblokje, heerlijk bed, lekkere douche... maar bovenal een erg fijne , rustige en inspirerende omgeving. Heb me heerlijk vermaakt met het doorbladeren van de prachtige fotoboeken en het was lekker uitwaaien tijdens wandelingen langs de dijk.
