This family chapel has been carefully and lovingly turned into a delightful holiday setting.The building is to be found hidden in a large property under the shade of secular trees and offers much privacy.Guests have at their disposal numerous spots outside(with tables,chairs,sunbeds)where they can relax and take in the nature around them.From this chapel two separate studios have been created."LA CAPPELLINA"is a delightful studio which has a ceiling with wooden beams and brick supported by two tie beams and a Tuscan terracotta floor.From a small balcony(with cast iron table and chairs)you go through an imposing door and a magnificent glass door with its original coloured panes into the apartament.Once inside you find yourself in a large bright room(50 sq.metres).Here two distinct areas have been created:a beroom area with double bed and a living room area,with two sofa beds.The kitchen area is slightly raised and fully equipped.A few steps and hidden door lead you to the bathroom.

In deze accommodatie slaap je gezegend. Het was vroeger namelijk een familiekapel. Het altaar is nog aanwezig. Voorzien van een keukentje met koelkast een gasfornuis en een ruime badkamer met douche. Het verblijf is lekker koel omdat het onder de bomen staat. De eigenaar weet veel te vertellen over de omgeving en probeert het verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken.

Nous avons séjourné à la Cappellina durant une semaine à l'été 2013. C'est un endroit que nous avions choisi comme point de chute pour découvrir la Toscane. Situé dans un endroit calme, c'est un lieu atypique et de caractère, et qui est confortable.
Silvana et Nilo, les propriétaires, sont des gens charmants et discrets et Silvana, qui parle couramment le français, est toujours là pour rendre service ou vous aider à profiter au mieux de votre séjour.
Le village dispose de plusieurs commerces parmi lesquels de petites épiceries achalandées de bons produits locaux, un excellent glacier artisanal et plusieurs bons restaurants comme La Gattaliola sur la place du village (qui dispose à l'arrière d'une très agréable terrasse et dont nous gardons le souvenir gourmand d'antipasti très goûteuses) ou, un peu à l'écart, Al Canto del Maggio. Sans oublier les exceptionnelles pâtes aux truffes de l'Antica Osteria al Castello, à Lari, un village voisin.
De là, il est très facile de se rendre en voiture dans les principales villes de Toscane (Pise, Lucques, San Gimignano, Sienne, Florence, etc.) comme aussi dans la campagne profonde de la région du Chianti.
C'est un lieu calme et de caractère, idéal pour explorer la Toscane, un endroit que nous recommandons très chaleureusement et où nous reviendrons à coup sûr.

My family stayed in an adjoining property, La Chiocciola, owned by the same lady, Silvana - Silvana was amazing, she helped us find local amenities and even helped us with extra room. I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone as it is the best place I've ever stayed anywhere in the world! Everything was provided and it was clean and comfortable, and the setting is beautiful. Thank you Silvana for a lovely stay :)
